  1. Past hour
  2. Honestly, City aside I don't think the other owners are that arsed about winning tbh, they just want to make sure they are on the gravy train. They hate domestic competition because qualifying for the Gravy train is the ultimate win for them. Notice how they are silent about PSG and Madrid. As I've repeated before, PSG at one point were paying Mbappe, Neymar and Messi They were founded in 78 was it?
  3. I just doubt that we will buy 6 players who are ready this season, so I am curious to hear which of the ones I listed that people would ditch if we sell Longstaff.
  4. I think now he's dropped down the pecking order it's become almost a circular argument. In one way he's not very good last 12 months of his contract and now might be a good time to sell to get a fee over giving him a new deal. The counter to this is what quality level do you want or expect from 5th or 6th choice? He's only 27 loves the club and doesn't appear to be pushing his toys out the pram finding chances limited. If your against longstaff staying is the fear an injury or 2 away from him starting regularly. If we get offered a decent fee of 12/15m at least we know it will get reinvested and the player may get more than 10 starts a season in his "peak" years.
  5. Going to be hilarious when the pendulum swings again as they realise that they’ve voted for something that fucks their future up
  6. amazing signing for PSG. Would have been my number one choice but obviously we can't compete with oil money Good old PSR making english clubs less competitive than they should be.
  7. Could really see Kluivert at Man U, with his career going to shit
  8. We should be stalking them Chelsea-style to see who they’re after as replacements.
  9. Leverkusen and Man Utd linked with Kluivert this morning.
  10. Wow, Huijsen, Zabarnyi, Kerkez, Kepa. They’re getting harvested. Get a bid in for Kluivert, they’re clearly up for selling. I’m sure Patrick can recommend us.
  11. I was going to say the president of the US uses two hands to drink a bottle of water, but that's a counter argument really.
  12. Would be a very good time for Iraola to jump ship
  13. And an earring. He might as well have 'gang member' tattooed on his forehead. Serously though, the red flag is using two hands to hold his phone. Who does that?
  14. They've been completely butchered
  15. Okay, so then we need to spend more than what we get for Longstaff. So we need a starter RW, a starter CB, a new goalie, a CM that can challenge for the starting spot, a backup striker, AND a new backup/rotation midfielder who will also cost us a bit. If we sell Longstaff we will probably need 2 midfielders. Then all of these players will have to get used to their team mates, all at once.
  16. Absolutely. He's totally flawed as a squad player because he takes a few 90 minutes to get up to speed and doesn't have the guile to impact a game off the bench. He'd be a brilliant signing for Leeds as he should start 38 games for them.
  17. Mikky

    Sean Longstaff

He no longer offers the output we need - there’s a reason why he started only 8 times - he is way behind our starting 3 - we need our bench players to make contributions throughout the season
  18. He was pretty pants in the Champions League this season like.
  19. Rich

    Sean Longstaff

I’d sell without blinking if we got offered anything over £15M.
  20. Depends on what the 80m gets you. If its top class in-demand matchwinner, I dunno, Ekitike?, you think about it. If its two Liverpool castoffs like Quansah and Eliot, the kind of signings the world of football thinks we deserve, then no fucking way.
  21. Scoot

    Sean Longstaff

To improve in that area we need to sell in that area first. Selling Longstaff to upgrade to a younger, better player is a must in my eyes. If we don't and just go with what we've got next season, we'll be in a bit of trouble I think with the extra games (even without them). Bruno, Joelinton and Tonali are great, but the drop off after those 3 is huge. We need a 4th player to rotate to some degree as those 3 cannot and won't play ever game. Hopefully Miley can step up as well next season.
  22. Great vehicle for the game, who doesn’t want to see the richest clubs become even richer to the point that they can’t possibly fail
  23. Chatting to a guy this morning who said the minimum amount of money they will make would cover about 15 years of wages . Immediately making their own league a farce. Would be the equivalent of giving Man U £2.5 Billion (US version).
