I’d rather go for Kubo. Real Sociedad might have no European football at all next season, so I could see them being tempted by an offer which wouldn’t be as much as what a Premier League club would want for one of their players. The same applies to that Bournemouth CB, rather take a gamble on of the defenders from someone like Sporting Lisbon, than pay over the odds for him.

Jacob Murphy must be worth a tidy sum to a Saudi club at this stage, much better numbers than Bailey this season, or Nunez.

Aye, ridiculous mate

Shite how I have to work in an office whilst someone gets to drive around a cart full of drinks for millionaire athletes.

Sensational work from the FA mind to have its disciplinary platform showing Stockton one thing when the disciplinary handbook says something totally different, which is the bit potentially putting them in the shit
-
It’ll be a hybrid forward who can play on the right and up front, once we start getting quoted astronomical fees in the summer it’ll be 3 players not 4 we can afford.
-
Just heard Stockton might be in a bit trouble for the play-offs - nightmare if true

Does make me wonder whether it's an attempt to keep the other premier league teams sweet and not bite the hand that feeds if/when we spend more
-
Alfie Harrison training with the first team?

I love just how far away those quotes are from what was claimed

I don't really mind the Saudis buying players from other PL teams. Totally undermines any virtue-signalling thrown our way by dickhead fans of other clubs. Also makes any success we have all the more sweeter if our rivals are benefiting from Saudi coin too.

Are you kidding? Premier IS and has been the pinnacle of European football for at least 25 years, just like Italy was between the 80s and 90s. In Italy, until a few years ago, they broadcast La Liga, Bundesliga and Premiere, and 9 out of 10 Italians only watched Premier. I'd rather watch Ipswich-Wolves than Real Madrid-Getafe.

I100% agree with you but does that not apply to all of the top teams? Who replaces Sala, Haaland and look at Arsenal up front at the moment? As I say, I agree with you but a lot of teams go with this high risk strategy. Some of these clubs are taking too big a risk but at the same time I wonder if fans are a little stuck in the past with big squads, say Yorke, Cole, Sheringham and Solskjær? That depth just doesn't exist anymore. Shows how the game has changed.

Wonder if it plays on a player's mind if they go to someone like Real Madrid or Liverpool for instance and win things, they're just another name amongst a long list, whereas if they stay together and do it here, they're immortals.

I hope so, I've already gone through a handful of milestones already this season that were definitely when he was going to get his goal, the cup final being the latest. 90+6 winner at the Emirates in a couple of weeks will do nicely! Or did you mean for us to actually win the CL next year?
-
What's that gonna solve.

The important thing is that you do not lose Howe who is the true architect of your extraordinary season, despite some naivety he is an excellent coach. Rather I fear that you overvalue some players like Isaak who is a good player but not the phenomenon that I often read here.

This is where it’s all wrong with VAR and where Rugby Union are way ahead - the dialogue is completely wrong. The ref must always be in control - if this is rugby, VAR says look at the screen and the incident is replayed back from the start - from there on in the ref is in charge of what he wants to see - VAR stay quiet and don’t interfere - ref sees the slip - we move on 2 examples where VAR is a joke in football Evanilson - first thing ref is shown is the scissor motion - not how he got there Joe Willock v Palace (a few years back) - ref is shown Willock going into keeper - isn’t shown Mitchell pushing him in the back In 2 years we have the same problems still - refs need to grow a pair to and ask to see incidents from start to finish - not the end action first

Reprehensible quotes, he should be ashamed.

Man Utd get the helping hand they needed and Bournemouth aren’t inconvenienced for the next three games. Everyone wins (sort of).
