  1. Past hour
  2. Totally agree, they both had money to spend in January as well
  3. I got an email. they don’t miss a trick. Making the crest in the bottom left look pixelated and hard to make out
  4. Bang on mate. Eddie had a team that hadn't won for 14 matches and finished 11th with them. Not once did he mention any of this "don't have the players for my system" BS, it's a cop out. He just got on with it, and implemented a game plan that worked with what he had.
  5. If this weekend taught us anything, surely it's that there's no such thing as a nailed on result?
  6. Don’t underestimate the impact of Botman coming off made to the team - really hurt our shape - there was no like for like player to come on Not having Trippier - Hall - Willock as options hurt us too - was a good example as any of how we lack some quality which hopefully this summer addresses
  7. So the team we're 3 points ahead of with an almost insurmountable GD, the team we're a point ahead of, and the team we're 2 points behind but play this weekend, have beaten three times, and whose only win in the last month is against a 10 man Ipswich are nailed on but we're not. A reasoned perspective.
  8. Always the same with these clubs. Bring in a new manager at great expense, he struggles and all you hear is "The squad needs an overhaul" or "he needs the summer, a transfer window to get in his "own" players" etc etc blah blah blah. When are these coaches ever going to be accountable for attempting to improve the players they already have and coming up with a decent system, even if it compromises their "values", and getting some fucking league results!? Why do they always need to overhaul the already expensively-assembled squad that's there before being judged? How about you try being the well remunerated coach you're reputed to be? In any other season, without such a pathetic set of promoted clubs, Man Utd and Spurs would have been in relegation trouble. As far as squad cost goes, that's scandalous.
  9. Our sensitive fanbase are such an easy target to get ad revenue.
  10. Really bad isn't it. Tonight's is practically a dead rubber, which is a shame for a neutral.
  11. Aye. Proper bellend that Rory. Zero football knowledge, just loud and “controversial”.
  12. Just rage bait innit. Rory doesn't believe half of the nonsense that he comes out with, he's just in it for the clout. Best to ignore him and hopefully he'll fuck off.
  13. Sorry if its already been posted, but that Rory gimp (chelsea yewchooba) got a bit triggered by Big Joe wearing a toon shirt in the stands yesterday
  14. Arsenal love mugging off palace. Nketiah, chamakh, Sanogo
  15. Rich

    Sven Botman

That back three must feel like a million dollars lining up beside each other, like, it's one hell of a unit.
  16. So basically Liverpool, Arsenal, Man City and Villa look pretty nailed on, this could very easily go to Everton on the last day, I'm confident we will hammer them.
  17. Villa 3-1 Spurs Chelsea 2-1 Man United Everton 2-0 Southampton West Ham 2-2 Forest Brentford 3-1 Fulham Leicester 2-0 Ipswich Arsenal 2-1 Newcastle Brighton 1-1 Liverpool Palace 2-1 Wolves Man City 2-0 Bournemouth
  18. https://archive.ph/V6kEo Article from Luke Edwards about it. That is an interesting (shite) design.
  19. A comment on the their BBC page: Jeff: Frustrated, We didn't seem to have a plan for this game. Everyone knows what you are going to get from Newcastle, They are a bullish-physical side. They get three to four bookings every week. Chelsea needed more beef in the line-up including a big centre-half. We are lightweight. This has to change if we are to compete in Europe. It's interesting that they are currently top of the yellow card league with 96 (2.66/game) - we're in 16th with 64 (1.77/game). Some people just see what they want to see. Physical doesn't mean dirty.
  20. Didn't he smash his knee off someone when clearing the ball in the first half? Was down for a minute or say but probably just a knock?
  21. A Quote from a Chelsea fan on theshedend.com, After better recent results, I was hoping we could go there and somehow get the 3 points yesterday. But when you look at it, you realise Newcastle have a 100% better coach than we do. They have a 100% better striker than we do (they actually have a striker - we have a f**k-wit). Their keeper is better than ours. Their wide players are better and more consistent than ours. And to cap it all, in their squad they have Livramento and Hall, both getting plenty of game time who we deemed not good enough. In short, as much as it pains me, Newcastle are currently a much better run football club than us and right now, more worthy of CL football. Lets just hope we address that pretty soon. It hurts them Knowing they lost 2 very good players in Livramento and Hall
  22. Aye, it would be good to see someone beat that record given that 4 of their 11 points came from us. I'm more than happy for Coventry to get promoted and take that honour though.
  23. Genuinely agree with that.
  24. Have a heart. Think of Derby (yes, I do mean County and their 19 years of shame).
