Thing that pissed me off the last time is the shirt didn’t change, so I had the old one with the ‘NUFC’ stylised badge on and the next season the same shirts bore the new crest. I can’t remember anyone complaining although it was obvious the new badge was a homage to the old city crest. There certainly wasn’t any ‘fan consultation’ that’s for sure.

Can’t recall there being much of a kick off when it changed previously… Bottom line is they’re wanting to change for a reason and if it makes commercial sense they’ll do it… sentiment doesn’t come into play now especially for a badge that’s been changed previously… I’m more concerned about keeping a city centre stadium, building on carabao cup success, securing champions league football and continuing to progress on all fronts….
