  2. The badge change probably....
  3. Won’t lie, it’s utterly baffling to see this opinion on a Newcastle United forum in Spring 2025. It’s a fucking trophy. I don’t want or need “vindication”, I didn’t choose to be a Spurs fan. I want to win a fucking trophy. What on Earth are you on about? Presuming this isn’t just trolly bullshit of course.

    On this day...

An horrific day, one I would never wish to recollect. One of my neighbours was lost that day. I was supposed to be in the main stand with my girlfriend. Ended up in my usual standing spot. The walk home was silence everywhere. My whole street was out when we returned, I just sat and cried on the wall outside my house.
  5. Could go either way this. Joelinton and Tripper out is some blow.
  6. Yeah, I suppose your suggestion would be almost like a 4-3-3, but with Gordon as an offensive CM. He has player there before for us, but only once I think. Possible, but unlikely imo.
  7. sure they're not, but maybe someone on twitter will pick it up next time with your reputation for being right and then it spreads widely
  8. Displayname

    Joe Willock

Ship off to Saudi. All he got left is his name.
  9. Saka to Newcastle would be great.
  10. Quite confident with this formation. Botman has enough pace to keep their forward stuhm
  11. Delighted to see Gordon back in there even if it's at the expense of Trippier, who'll be a miss. Fairly relaxed at this point. Have faith in the lads and the crowd to deliver.
  12. 1st thought on team news was ouch, that's lopsided and gonna be shite. 2nd thought was - Eddie won us a cup. See what happens. I'm probably the only one who would rather have Europa over CL simply as we can win it, and add to the collection. Plus it gives you CL next season and we'd be ready.
  13. Game is on Amazon Prime, in case someone in Sweden has missed that
  14. My point was BDB has played left back countless times and only Gordon would be asked to play in the position that willock would have but I can see either happening
  15. Unbelievable

    Joe Willock

The circle of Willock and Wilson™
  16. Deffo 3-4-3 Our wingbacksnhave enough pace to keep neto and madueke under wraps. Burn might be tasked with following palmer
  17. Who stops at one on a day like this? Guess who wins again...
  18. He's fielding three wide attacking players and I think the main puzzle is how they're all going to fit in. I can't envisage Gordon in midfield because he can't tackle. I'm assuming Murphy, as the best tackler of the three, will go into midfield. Barnes is a good athlete and I could imagine him as a wing back, but whether he's played there before I don't know. Maybe Schar will be pushed forward to do a job on Palmer, like he did against Arsenal with Rice.
  19. They'll certainly need to be a bit more conservative going forward. Also will need Gordon and Barnes to tuck in some to help in there.
  20. I just don't see Howe ever going for a 4-2-3-1. 5-2-3 or 3-4-3 (basically the same those two) would at the very least be something that we have done before.
  21. I'd like a long island iced tea and a Renault Turbo.
  22. That's what I thought straight away but could be totally wrong. Gordon would arguably get through more work than him anyway and Gordon and Barnes doubling up on the left sounds unstoppable to me.
  23. Highly doubt other teams are checking a newcastle forum for news Just stops any suspense and dread of who's playing, really
