Let's not go off at the deep end. He's been largely forced into doing this. Positive step for us and the coaching though certainly. Agree with this, thankfully he for once did what was right. When has that happened since he appointed Keegan?

Road to redemption. Good move this one.
-
Voted Wijnaldum. Great player at times, but should have made a greater effort this year.
-
Krul 2 - injured, but wasn't at his best before the injury. Elliot 8 Darlow 8 Janmaat 2 - out of position. Can do alot better. Anita 5 Colo 1 - Useless. Mbemba 6 Lascelles 8 - Should have started earlier, seems to be a bright one for the future. Must keep. Taylor 1 - useless. Dummett 6 Haidara 3 - injured again Townsend 9 Colback 5 Tiote 5 Sissoko 3 - expected so much more. Missing for 30 games. Wijnaldum 2 - got 6 of his goals in 2 games. Like sissoko, missing for most of the season. Saivet 0 - no impact. Aarons 4 - Hoped to see more of him. Shelvey 4 - no effect. Gouffran 0 - useless. Thauvin 0 - useless Mitrovic 4 - what could've been. Missed alot of sitters, and that has cost us dearly. Also has obvious anger problems, that needs to be resolved. Could become a great striker. Cisse 3 - Mostly poor. Perez 5 - Shining for periods, then missing. Must keep. De Jong 0 - nothing. Get rid Riviere 0 - nothing. Get rid. Doumbia 0 - nothing. Get rid-

Hope he fucks off. Useless.

Like I said in the other thread, it's not even about getting promotion first time of asking, with Rafa you will have someone who will look after the club and progress it over the next few years. Someone used Defoe as an example of a quality striker covering a multitude of sins. It's the same with a proper manager. Just like Keegan managed to paper over our horrendous running of the club at a higher level, if we give the reins to Benitez and he's allowed to run things as he sees fit, he can erase much of the incompetence of Ashley, Charnley, Concur and the rest. 100% agree with this.

If Rafa stays on we will be promoted first try. We'll even get som momentum to gain some positivity and build on for the coming years. Without Rafa it's pretty much fucked. Hope im proved wrong. Hope someone says something about the plans for next season pretty soon, regardless of the outcome this week.

How many of the spurs players should face retroactive actions? If vardy got a ban after his red card dive, then tottenham will be without half their team the last 2 games.
-
Him and Pissoko pisses me off. They can fuck off. Not good enough.
-
Im staying by what i said in 2009! (however hoping for a quick promotion). Also gotta say, i loved the championship season . A nice break from playing shit every week.
-
Got this strange feeling he will stand out under Benitez. He's unstoppable when he is on form (that first game vs chelsea springs to mind).
-
Hope to fuck he keeps us up. Might for once even be positive about this club again. Most important guy in charge since keegan (mk2)

http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/alan-shearer-convinced-newcastle-go-11001003 Spot on.
-
Voted Shearer. However would like him to get the chance under proper ownership. With Mike Ashley still here, anyone that could save our asses again will do.
-
Mitrovic without a partner, doesn't really work. Rather see doumbia on his own, based on absolutely nothing except for doumbias pace. Gouffran ahead of Perez/Aarons? WTF? Sissoko? Surely anyone else could lose the ball as often as him. So poor.
-
We wont score an away goal that matters in a million year. Useless shit everyone on the field, and it will stay that way as long as mcclaren is in charge. Going down, and the board of the club has no idea why. Pathetic.
-
i hate sissoko. useless shit.
-
shocker. Doesn't try to win and gets what is deserved.
-
Sunderland.
-
If they think they are bigger than the league they got a surprise coming. Without the fans and rivalry it's nothing.

So ignorant it's unreal. Recipe for relegation.

Away game - versus a Stoke team that can do anything one day, and look like us the next. Cant see any points here, think their flair players will wreck us. IF Wijnaldum and Sissoko decides to feature in an away game for a change, we have a small chance to get some points, but that probably not gonna happen
