  1. Avoid defeat on Saturday and we're up, win and we're champions. Honestly think Brighton will crumble a bit now. That defeat tonight will trigger some canny unpleasant memories from last year. They bottled it.
  2. Great finish. Put it exactly where the defender on the line couldn't get to it.
  3. Hate to say it but Brighton look fairly comfortable here. We've had much the better of it for the last 40 mins but I think that's partly because they've dropped off and are happy to let us have it knowing we're fairly toothless.
  4. Gormless cunt couldn't get the whistle to his mouth quick enough. Absolute pigshit decision.

    Paul Dummett

Dummett didn't have to make the header, Cotterill was never catching him and he has no excuse for not knowing what was going around him considering the ball had travelled almost half the length of the pitch. I think it was 50/50 as Darlow didn't have to rush out even though he probably though he would get the ball into row Z of the Milburn. Darlow must be a bit thick trying to come out for that after his air kick against Norwich. I can forgive Dummett as he can't see behind him. Yeah he could have let it run out of play but he played the header towards the area every single person would have expected Darlow to have been occupying. Darlow didn't have to do anything other than stand still in the centre of his 6 yard box and see what happened. He decided to rush out and it cost us another goal and a couple of points again, just like QPR. Its infuriating.

    Paul Dummett

Dummett played a cushioned header to where he expected the keeper to be. Darlow, able to see the entire picture, charged out and went to collect a ball he could see was being dealt with. It's all on Darlow again imo, similar scenario to QPR a few weeks ago.
  7. Just can't afford to start him any longer. Don't care how old he is or how much he cost or how many goals he's scored in Belgium, his misses are costing us points on a regular basis. He gets a chance and he either blows it because he can't be trusted to control himself or simply can't convert fairly easy chances. He's had his chance, I'd start Murphy. Mitrovic as third choice and named on the bench, only subbed on as a battering ram if we're chasing it. No time for sentiment, he's not been up to it.
  8. There's the difference, strikers who take chances like that get you promoted.
  9. Only consolation is that Huddersfield will also think they've dropped 2 points in a fixture they would have probably expected to win. The gap is still effectively 6 points with only 39 points to play for. Gifting goals needs to stop but I've been saying that since September and we're still top. Think we'll do it but losing confidence a bit as the same mistakes continue to be made, probably at a 7 right now.
  10. Disappointed but not entirely surprised. It's happened over and over again at home. Slow, laboured, no urgency, no cohesion and sloppy as fuck at the back.
  11. I just think he deserved the chance to turn it around and keep them up. Surely there was enough goodwill in the bank after delivering the title last year? I know it's ruthless but really feel for the bloke.
  12. Part and parcel of the game. Mitrovic and/or Murphy needs to convert the chances we're inevitably going to create for the next month. If they step up then we go up. Cutting out the daft mistakes at the back wouldn't go amiss either like. It's in our hands and if we fuck it up then we've no-one to blame but ourselves.
  13. Epic #bantz backfire. Delicious, fuck him.
  14. The only reason he didn't stand out as being exceptionally shit is that fact he barely saw the ball in the second half. The rest of the team stepped up and he was isolated. He did nothing wrong simply because he was seldom involved. Him being less horrendous than usual doesn't merit any praise at all, he's still an abysmal human being.
  15. That was canny easy really. Another 3 points on Saturday and we're forcing Huddersfield to carry on winning and they can't keep on doing that.
  16. That's the nature of the league, it's relentless. Got to keep on winning and winning to stay where we are or we'll get reeled in.
  17. Still think Huddersfield can't sustain this. They're spawning it every week atm but it'll turn soon enough.
