If it took 5 bouncers to restrain his auntie then I dare say she could have handled the situation by herself tbh. Absolutely ridiculous goings on.
  2. Fairly confident we'll go on a bit of a run now and take the lead before xmas. We've taken 25 of the last 30 points available and the fixture list looks quite favourable. Time to engage steamroller mode and grind teams into the dirt.
  3. "Premier league 8" lists doing the rounds. Probably bollocks like.
  4. Those 6 minutes of injury time will be a massive turning point now. It's like being handed 3 extra bonus points.
  5. Needs to be far more flexible in his approach, especially to home games. 4-2-3-1 simply isn't working at home, it's too negative, it's too defensive and it's too safe, it's leaving the onus on 4 or 5 players to break down 9 or 10 men and the results are there to see. Gayle is isolated and we end up passing it around the box and in the middle third. I'd go so far as to say that if he persists with it for every home game regardless of opposition then the points we drop will cost us promotion. He's got to take the shackles off.

Aye, poor Sam. Little lamb just caught on the hop, not his fault. Wrong place, wrong time.

Those Chilean miners were trapped underground for two days longer than Sam Allardyce was manager of England.

Surely if this 'scandal' is big enough to get him sacked from the England job he'll not work in football again? If he survives then he's been very lucky considering how outspoken the FA have been about the corruption in FIFA.

Thought he was poor tonight. Poor for the goal and never gave his CBs a rest by refusing to come for anything. He let them deal with just about every ball into the box and eventually that's going to cost you. Bar one late save against Brighton all I've seen him do is field back passes, flap at crosses and pick the ball out of the net. Needs to be far more dominant and commanding, he's a big bloke ffs.
  11. Disagree. I'm 100% a Rafa guy but the approach to subs was passive. The midfield were dead on their feet and not replaced early enough. That's fair enough. Yedlin going off was a blow and we lost all momentum and control of the game. Inability to handle Gestede and cede time and space was a bit frustrating. The game should have been done by ht.
  12. No one to blame but the players who missed all of the clear cut chances we made. Team was fine, performance was fine, plenty of chances created, subs were ok, players fluffing their lines cost us. Don't take your chances when they come then you've got no one else to blame but yourself. Didn't finish them off and it's cost us 2 points today.

Our place was given a massive wedge of tickets for their WBA fixture next week. The pile must have been at least 2 or 3 inches thick. We're having to give them away, you'd expect them to be used as prizes or incentives but we're literally handing them out and there's still a load left. This happens at least 4 or 5 times every year and it's always the same.

Shearer on the bench in the rain. As if he didn't know....
  15. As poor a debut as I can remember. especially first half. Really hoping it was nerves and/or a bit rustiness but he'll need to improve a lot pretty quickly. Bottling 50/50's, losing possession in dangerous areas and smashing crosses out of play will need to be sorted asap. Sure he'll get better.

If you show me anything that Louise Taylor has written about Newcastle which is even close to what this lad wrote I'll be amazed. It was only last December he wrote that he hopes we get relegated. Completely unsuitable to be reporting on SAFC. The nasty cunt. Hang him.

They cant seem to understand why we're so optimistic. We're rebuilding with a world class manager whether its in the Championship or not we're still moving forward. They're just continuing to exist to simply survive by the skin of their teeth every year, and deep down they know if they ever do get relegated again if they come back up it'll be the same process repeating itself. Let them have their few wins in a row and their Premier League status, we'll have ours back soon enough with some real optimism while they just continue to be miserable. I just struggle to see what they get out of supporting their club. I know they've won the last few derbies but it's been pretty dire fare down there for the last few years, they've circled the drain and stayed up, fair play, but they just seem to be postponing the inevitable whilst losing millions and millions year on year. Surely you want a bit more as a fan? Surely you want to see a bit of progress but not this lot. 17th is the equivalent of a cup win. I pity them.
  18. That's fantastic. Surely Sunderland will match it?

Got away with only a 3-0 hiding. 1 point out of 12, in 19th place, Spurs away on Sunday. Is this what they were celebrating in May for? Getting absolutely cunted every week, nothing to enjoy, nothing to get positive about, nothing to get behind, can't even stay until the final whistle but at least they're in the premier league.
  20. This is the proverbial holding a midget at arm's length. Everton are so comfortable and superior in every single area. It's embarrassing to be brutally honest.
  21. Lukaku could easily have had 6 tonight.
