  1. £116 for a long sleeved L, CL patch and Tonali 8? Deal
  2. Ultimate kiss of death this like. Not happy and it's Shay. I'm not angry but I'm disappointed
  3. Exactly. None of us were in the thick of it but there were plenty of dots to be joined and what Hope has presented tonight seems more than plausible and none of it too outlandish to dismiss. There's details in there of phrases used and it's a bit too direct to be complete bullshit. . He could be exaggerating or embellishing things a bit but I'm happy to join the dots and look at the picture he's made. It felt very sudden at the time and there was clearly tension in pre-season. If anyone comes out and refutes it then I'll be open to change my mind but Hope's story stacks up pretty well imo
  4. "GO ON, DISALLOW THAT ONE YOU FUCKING CUNTS, FUCKING YEEEEEESSSS!!" was screamed at the inanimate object in the corner of my living room at about 100dB. Fuckers in the graveyard heard me

Henderson was finished at PL level several years ago. Good luck with that one, no other PL has gone near him as a result for very good reasons
  6. Caved instantly once it went public. Obviously Tried the Klarna route but got fucked off
  7. Sure it was at the Shearer unveiling. Strategically placed shirt on the back seat of the car to stir the shit
  8. Snide cunts. Quite happy to exploit the clause to stop a bidding war but also perfectly happy to ignore how long it takes to pay it, absolutely typical of that lot. Always want to run with the foxes and hunt with the hounds
  9. Could be that officially he's still here and technically on board with everything but in reality he's already been cut out of the loop totally and things are happening without him being involved at all? Who knows. It seems very sudden and unexpected but I've got a feeling it was decided a while ago and kept under wraps until the season finished, wouldn't surprise me if they've already got someone lined up but probably feel the need to wait a couple of weeks to make it look like a bit more authentic as opposed to knifing him and replacing him before actually announcing it? It does suggest that the communications and structure at the top of the club aren't as good as they need to be though. We've been through a bit of a churn of directors etc and it's only been a few years now. Decisions, announcements and communications with fans seem long and drawn out due to maybe a lack of clarity of roles or reluctance to make a decision or getting things signed off or whatever. They're delivering on the pitch regardless but they could do with getting their shit in a pile off the pitch too. It seems way too clunky and difficult atm
  10. Literally typed the postcode into Google maps and thought - "ooOOOoo, London?"
  11. Granted It's a hope rather than an expectation tbh
  12. Announcing it less than 48 hours after the final ball has been kicked suggests it's been in the pipeline for a while. Sure it'll all come out in the wash though and they've done well to keep a lid on it all tbh. Hoping the replacement is at least announced in the next week or so (assuming they started the process once the decision had actually been made)
  13. Certainly knows how to get cash in the till quickly
  14. Criticism only hurts when it comes from someone you respect. Hence, I struggle to get annoyed with no-marks like Glendenning
  15. Whatever has happened over the last few months it's clear that Howe has cemented his place as the most important person within the club. He's delivered silverware and Champions League football despite a lack of strengthening over the last 3 windows and the bloke at the very top has clearly backed him over Mitchell. Just need a replacement named and into the club asap so it's a clean handover. That's about as much as we can hope for now
  16. Probably NDAed up to the hilt as part of the agreement
  17. Not massively bothered that he's going but I am massively bothered about who's taking his place. He wasn't here long enough to make any kind of impression but it's still disappointing that this has happened just as the window is opening and we, by all accounts, have some cash to spend. Not bothered about reasons why he's gone and speculation I just want to know who's coming in and is the list of targets now going to change as a result? The club is bigger and more important than Paul Mitchell
  18. There's a few points won away that could be argued were just as handy. The point at Bournemouth with the Joelinton grab and the shouldered goal in the last minute? Plus the point at Palace where I don't think we had a SoT? It's all about the accumulation of points over the course of the season which is why I'm not utterly devastated by the Everton performance. We had some stinking games but we were also imperious for 4 weeks either side of Xmas and immediately after the Cup win. We earned a buffer and needed all of it come 5pm on Sunday. Fuck it

The mistake was blowing early rather than getting the wrong decision imo. Standing on a keeper's hand as he's shielding has always been a foul and while knocking it away from the keeper he made fouled him. Ref should/could have let it go but if it goes to VAR then I think they see the keeper's hand being stood on and give the foul anyway. Whole thing could have been handled better but I don't think it would have changed anything, the goal would have been ruled out regardless. Can't believe the fuss the club and fans are making over it
  20. Don't think London life and Jack Grealish look particularly well suited to each other but hey ho, not our problem
  21. Like everyone else he'll be judged on his results, he's had more than enough time to get his feet under the table, assess the squad and check the books to find the budget. He's also had time to contact any agents, scout targets and liaise with Howe and anyone else who has a say in the process. If he doesn't deliver this summer then it'll be squarely on his shoulders, I think it'll be a good window personally and we'll spend wisely but the pressure is now on him. The team and management have delivered the best season for decades, it's now his turn to back it up

How many generational talents did they have though? Not as many as sunlun I bet
  23. I'm just struggling to understand the logic of keeping anyone, regardless of age, experience and wages, if they're not now in a position to offer anything to the team in any situation. Wilson has been a great striker for us but it's pretty clear he's now so immobile and unfit that he's now done at this and probably championship level too. It's a shame but we're not a charity and don't need any cheerleaders I just don't get it
