We aren't a good enough side to give teams like City a 2 goal headstart and expect to get something out of the game. We made 2 mistakes and they scored each time. We got away with it last season but they rightfully punished us for being sloppy. After that I think they (knowing they were playing again in 48 hours time) sat back safe in the knowledge that they'd already scored enough to win the game. 85 minutes of training ground football where they kept their shape, got men behind the ball and soaked it up whilst conserving energy for the upcoming games. We huffed and puffed and I can't fault our effort or commitment and enjoyed plenty of the ball but Hart barely had a shot to make tbh. Once we scored you could see City's attitude change as they were forced to come out and get a killer third goal. They pressed and the back 4 pushed 15 yards further up the park and clinched it. Not sure what the game proved that we didn't already know - City are better than us, we make individual mistakes and some of our lot aren't quite good enough. Our season doesn't hinge on taking points from City and the like and it's not the end of the world but we need to beat the poor teams and continue picking up the odd win away too. Spurs will be tough and I'm not expecting anything there either. West Ham is huge now.

Lovely bloke. Very humble and magnanimous which is a very rare thing in the game in 2010. Deserves a crack at a job where his bosses aren't a pack of cunts.

Probably wouldn't throw him in against City's midfield quite so soon but he's got to be a better bet than Smith, Guthrie or Lovenkrands. They offer virtually nothing whereas Vuckic may offer something. He's definitely not going to improve by sitting on the bench though.

Pack this shit in, I'm on holiday.

Did Corinthians win one of the first FA Cups? Edit:

Wonder if he gets discount? Everyone does. Usually 70%.

Did they train today? Anyone?

Onouha and Johnson would be 2 cracking signings for the filth it's got to be said. They should cost a bomb but they'll get they on the cheap which makes it all the more annoying.

If he is staying then he needs to fire his agent tbh. McKay leaked this one deliberately and caused all of the furore.
-
They'll bomb down the league and sack Kean in February after they've given him a bit of cash to spend. They don't know what they're doing.

You can forget common sense, assists, his form this season and anything else. If someone comes in with more than about £3m Ashley will take it and he'll be gone. Logic plays no part whatsoever in Ashley's tenure and it wouldn't surprise me at all if he's sold.

Tevez withdraws written transfer request

Standard procedure from City: throw enough money at the problem and it will eventually go away. Money is absolutely no object and a mere £5m to sort this situation will be seen as money well spent by them. -
How long has it been pronounced as 'Yagyelka'? Must have missed that one.

You need to calm down like.

He can't be allowed to go for nowt in the summer. I know he's holding all of the cards but if the arsehole isn't going to sign then he needs to be forced out of the club for as much as we can get. Fuck him.

If he's asked for £85k a week he's even stupider than I originally thought.

Howay man, the snow was mental up there today. Begs the question as to why, if it was that bad and the forecast was for worse to follow, it still was going ahead at 9.00 this morning? Well yeah, definitely. We were half an hour from Birmingham when we heard at 12 o'clock or whatever it was. That's my only gripe with calling it off tbh. Obviously the weather is shite down there and everyone has been expecting it for a few days so it's not a surprise that it's called off. The shitter is the fact they had an inspection at 9.00 this morning, just as wor fans were leaving, and called the game on. To then change their minds totally 3 hours later as the expected snow hit Birmingham leaving wor fans stranded is bang out of order. If the match is off - fine. But at least make the decision early enough to let the travelling fans know before they're too far into their journey. That's the pisser.

Somewhere Messi is thinking - 'I'm not drinking my own piss like. Can't believe they banned me, I was only taking the mick - they all do. I'm not fucking doing it, I'll go on a different forum.....' etc...
