Any ideas on the lottery numbers next week mate?

The chance to pump unchallenged long diagonal balls into the box from upwards of 60 yards away isn't going to help teams to play better football. Pricks like Allardyce and Pulis would be wanking over this rule change. Straight from the Charlie Hughes school of tactics and into the bin where it belongs.

He should have knocked the fucker into Monday tbh. Taken the whole lot out in one go. Or caught it properly....
-
Look at the pictures man, the guy has his bodyweight on his foward arm which is breaking harpers hold on the ball. Thats not minimal contact just because they dont smash heads together, it looks easier than it is. Seen it numerous times tbh. Still think Harper should have dealt with it better although I do think it's probably a foul. Certainly not a clear-cut foul though.

Spot on. Hes probably thinking the guys just gonna try to head it & he's gonna be able to catch it above his head as most keepers would. Hes not gonna be expecting an armbar is he. He cant run towards the ball as its coming down from a good height, he has to wait for it to fall into his hands. He even has to step back a bit. If he tips that over, thats a corner they can score from. He's done the right thing by trying to hold it & we were cheated by the ref. Still should have dealt with it rather than flapping like a soft twat and expecting a free kick for minimal contact.

We both said that we're capable of winning 30, drawing 10 and losing 6 to get 100 points. We're completely on track for that.
-
Should have either punched it out or tipped it over in hindsight. Needs to command his 6 yard box more than that which is a criticism that has often been made tbh.
-
Harper should have cleaned that up despite the slight contact. Probably was a foul but Harper was a bit shit/weak for it.

Never heard that one before. Doesn't mean it's wrong obviously...

Banging an old drum here like but we were fucking dreadful. We gave them a goal start, played some of the worst stuff I've seen from us or donkeys and still didn't get beaten. We just didn't look up for it at all and never deserved to win it. The unbeaten run continues and we're still 10 clear of 3rd after half the season. Can't see Forest, or anyone else for that matter, getting 10 more points than us in the remaining 23 games but we'll see. Overall - played shite, could have lost but didn't.

I haven't spoiled any and only corrupted 1 for a couple of minutes before changing it back. Vandals anonomous. It'll have been Geremi himself man, the lying old fucker.

True. But I'd wonder who would be out of the door to finance the deal. My money would be on Coloccini. Coloccini is pretty much regarded as over-priced by most on here anyway. He won't be sold this season and personally I would prefer if he stayed next season as well because he's better than people give credit for IMO. Quite agree. He's one of the big reasons we're 10 points clear and I'd like him to stay. Just can't see Ashley sticking his hand in his pocket and funding transfers. He could well sell someone like Carroll to fund them but we've spent nowt (net) in the transfer market for donkeys and I can't see him starting now. If Killa's coming in, someone's leaving to pay for him. If we get promoted I'm hoping that Premier funds and the fact we've been run on a tight budget will mean we won't need to sell players next season. I can't see Ashley investing big money in quality players but I think there'll be some money spent, and there shouldn't be any need to sell either. I hope you're right but I don't trust Ashley or Llambias enough to make the right decisions about who comes and who goes. If another club puts a big bid in for any of our players I don't trust them to say 'no'. I think he'd sell anyone if the money was waved in front of him.

Don't believe a single thing he says. He's a proven liar.

No, it just means whoever made the rules is f***ing stupid. Righto. Rules are clearly stupid in sport. Lets do away with free kicks then. Nah, football is good. I'll put you down for my petition to the RFU for implementing a no hands and forward passing rule then shall I? Reckon I'll tell the Lawn tennis association to put one of them nets they have at either end and ditch the rackets whilst i'm at it. Hark at the rugger-buggers getting all sanctimonious about their backward rules...

Do you think your argument might hold more water if you upgraded the fee slightly? I know he's out of contract in the summer but this isn't 1970. He's out of contract in June and he's basically been sent out on loan to put him in the shop window. Man U clearly don't want him and will take whatever they are offered. Why steam in with a million quid if just a fraction of that will get him? They'd get more than that for him if they let him leave in the summer from a tribunal. Hadn't considered the tribunal tbph. Maybe £250k wouldn't be enough...

If he wants to come here they'll take it and get him off their wage bill asap. Also, can't see Ashley digging much deeper than 250k for a player he could get for nowt in 5/6 months time.

Sign him now for about £250k. But if we go up I'd like us to get a better RB and use Simpson as back-up though. He's decent enough at this level but I think he'd struggle against better wingers who would have a right go at him for 90 mins.

Us, WBA and Forest.
-
I don't rate him particularly highly but there's some absolute drivel in here over the last day or so. He's done virtually all that's been asked of him and his saves have won us quite a few points so far this season - he's not been perfect but he's played very well. It's indisputable.

Just keep doing it til the taker misses Spotted a flaw...
