Read an ITK (a mate of 2 pools) on another forum saying that Taylor had been told he was first choice centre back next season and Dyer had been told he was playing Right Back (which he has done beofre for Ipswich, England and NUFC). Taylor starting and Dyer at right back ... 3-5-2 maybe? That way Sam can have his three man midfield, which he seems to prefer, as well a second striker to partner one of our dwarves. We've got to set ourselves high, but attainable targets. I'd be pleased with progress but we've under-performed (as a club) for a few years now. Given our resources we must be targeting top 6. Shoot for the stars and all that.

Nothing wrong with setting high targets. I look back to last season and count the points we lost out on when playing the dregs of the division. Add those points on and we're in the top 8 easily. Looking forward to next season and us playing under a real manager for the first time in a few years. Top 6 is there for the taking imo.
