Haven't managed to make it through this yet, let me know if it gets even worse

Why do Sunderland players look like young lads but from other eras? They've got haircuts and facial hair of 50s rockabilly twats or victorian shoeshine boys. O'Nein reminds me of Clive from Bad Boy Chiller Crew.

Can't believe the cameramen are obviously still picking out the fittest fans in the crowd for the close ups of the mackems, it's 2024 ffs.

Can't sit back and let them come at us for half an hour, howay.

Sunderland have had one shot on target and scored it. Worrying.

That's not a bad banner Spirit of 37 have made for five grand, I hope they can get the gofundme up to seven grand to cover it. Certainly worth the 12 grand to stick it to the mags. Speaking of which if they've given a whole stand bits of paper to spell out Wearside I'm sure there's going to be even more shit flying around on the pitch than usual if things start going wrong for them.

One of Al-Qaeda's primary objectives is the destruction of the ruling order in Saudi Arabia and the overthrow of the Royal Family. but never mind ey.

Wearside? What? It's gonna look like one of those old Pro Evo games where they didn't have the rights to the club names and so had to make it Wearside FC vs Merseyside Blue to see who takes on Gunners FC in the next round. What a wierd word to pick. Do they have any songs or anything where they go on about "Wearside"?

Hope someone in Black Cats bar at least prints out an O on a bit of A4 to stick over the A of Ha'way.

I don't know if people being sure we'll lose/win is just differing personalities. If you suffer from anxiety and tend to catasrophise then you've got a big event coming up that you're heavily invested in and you're going to fear the worst. Not that we don't have real concerns due to form and injuries, but they can become exaggerated in the mind. In that respect, talking about how we're going to lose, and that means the fans will be mad, and that means Howe might be sacked is no different from if you've got a presentation coming up at work and you're sure that dodgy laptop won't work, and you'll forget what you were going to say, and then you'll get sacked and then you won't be able to pay the rent and... So from that point of view it's not really - or at least not entirely - a footballing opinion, and can't be taken as such. I think even the biggest doom mongers know really that it might be like the Man U game, where we all went into it expecting a hammering because of our form and injuries and then it immediately became apparent that hang on, this lot are shite and we're up for this. But some people never like to get their hopes up because they don't want the crushing disappointment that can lead to.

Also worried about one of their players (can't name any, sorry) being too yo for it and snapping Miley's leg or something after he skips past them.
