So PIF bought us for £350m, surely if Liverpool take even more Saudi blood money in return for supplying their "sports washing league" with big names they're going to be getting close to a similar figure, after also selling Henderson and Firmino to them? (Henderson, by the way, going to join Mr Liverpool Stevie G who also couldn't get on the Saudi Gravy Wagon fucking fast enough). Gonna be more blood money sloshing around on Merseyside than there is up here.

Is "tapping up" still a thing or can you just unsettle a player all you like nowadays? Haven't even heard the phrase forever and yet it certainly still seems to go on.

Not really, he seems to be a nobody from Canada who has posted nothing about football, and indeed hasn't used his twitter acccount since 2022. The "source" for this one is a dead account from 15 years ago And the other "stories" seem to be just low-effort made up rubbish
