Haven't you been beating the "anyone but Pardew" drum before? No, I've been pretty specific that I don't want any long ball merchants or Sherwood because he's a prick. Fair enough. So you'd rather keep Pardew than get Pullis or Sherwood in? What's the point in sacking Pardew to replace him with either of those two? They might be better, they might not. I want someone who I would be confident could handle a squad of international players and develop an effective team to compete in Europe. You're both f***ing delusional. 'I really want us to sack Pardew but not unless we get a top class manager in.' Mentalists. As Ronaldo is pointing out.. it doesn't get much better or more top class than Alan. Some people..

Disgusting, just disgusting. Four years: - No semblance of playing style (despite constant talk) - Almost every player has gone backwards in terms of skill and confidence - All areas of the pitch look weaker than when he took over - That has to be said in practice, not on paper. - Lost crowd support That's without bringing in the stats into play which are sackable by themselves and way more damning. The fact that he will now get "his choice" of transfer targets petrifies me. We would already be in the Championship if he had got the likes of Bent, Tompkins and Bardsley. I fully expect him to use last years window as his main excuse and we will pay for what happens next.

Dark depressing days of mediocrity. Can't see us getting anyone near the skill of Hatem playing at this club anytime soon. Fully expect him to have a belter season next year, wherever he ends up. Probably cares more than anyone else in the squad about playing for us too. Sad.

Well they can.. and depending on who comes in to manage they probably will.

Sherwood and Sir Les to be released this week? Usual Levy c**tishness expected.

Not sure, lots of talk of him going to Birmingham..

feck me, great first signing for Pardew that.. hats off..

Can keep quoting this all day, everyday.. “Don’t ever give up on your club, keep supporting it, its your club and trust me one day you will get your club back and it will be everything you wanted it to be. “Newcastle United is bigger than anyone. It hurts I know, but just keep going, he is only one man, we are a city, a whole population. Trust me.” Do I think it would be a wise choice for him to come back? Depends on who is backing him I guess. Either way we bloody love you King Kev.

We love you Hatem... you will be missed

I am. derby bossing it. Really wish we'd at least attempt to sign Hughes sure we will on the last day and hour of the window

Yohan Cabaye (now sporting coordinator at Paris Saint-Germain)
toontownman replied to a topic in Football
Wait.. will we get money if he plays at the World Cup lol.. No wish Yohan all the best. While he handled things badly at the start of the season and last season was dodgy at best, he still brought me some happy memories! -
Wins are wins whether we play ugly or not. There will always be people happy to jump aboard that bandwagon. The most worrying thing which has occurred ever since Mort left, is the larger proportion of fans that just couldn't care less. As long as they sign a couple of players keep a basic status quo of being in the premier league... Apathy set in a while ago for far too many fans, and more and more are being ground down all the time. The silent voices are more of a worry to me than the mongs that still think Pardew should be in a job here.. or even those that are and will get tired of fighting a lost cause.

Absolutely mine. Easily.. and even better 95% sure he will still be here next year to get even better.

Protests Section - Chronicle run with front-page spread of #pardewprotest
toontownman replied to Rich's topic in Football
Not bad that from the Chronicle.. if they can't attend games they might as well enjoy the protests! In any other club, with any other owner, Pardew would be done. Why do I feel this only makes Ashley more likely to stick with him -
Yeah positive news. They just need to start sealing up the loop holes like Camillo walking from his contract in Vancouver. Disappointed Miller is leaving Vancouver, but lots of decent young players and an important DP spot and big salary freed up.
-
They're virtually all on Pardew's side, by the sounds of it. Well have to appear that way if they want to play... I am sure the players have as much hope as we do that Ashley would sack Pardew.

We will nick it 0-1. Williamson header from a set piece. Pardew given a fresh 8 year contract. -

Goal difference deficit rectified... -
Sounds about accurate of Poyet's character to jump at the first better offer that comes along. Wouldn't rule it out. Don't see any significant long term improvement under the likes of Pulis, Hughes or Bruce. Couldn't be anything but a improvement to where we are are right now though.

Makes my piss boil anytime he says anything now or even gets mentioned. Wish we had another couple of home games left, we would show him toxic, the twat.
