  1. was that the last game before they demolished the old kop? Im sure the day they said goodbye to the old Kop Norwich beat them 1-0 with a Jeremy Goss goal!
  2. What happened at Spurs? Sorry, wasnt old enough.
  3. Its probably a bit late to protest. Ashley did a great job of stopping it all in September/October when he said he was selling the club. Everyone calmed down, accepted Kinnear as a short term manager and that Ashley would sell. Now however we see that all that shite from Ashley at the time was just to get the fans off his back for a bit. It worked and he took the club off the market again when things had calmed down enough. We made the mistake of believing Ashley at the time, everyone stopped the protests, he stuck his middle finger up at us, and we are where we are. It was a masterstroke by Ashley at the time. The fans and the media all fell for it.

    Its a love thang!

    I love Oba too.
  5. Totally agree with the letter. On the subject of Calderwood, as anyone else managed to help two clubs get relegated in one season?
  6. Not a chance. This poll says it all. Its totally boils my piss that the board want to keep him on. Its one of those situations which is so fuckin obviously the wrong decision. Its like whenever Chris Hutchings gets appointed somewhere, or when Sammy Lee was given the Bolton job, Adams at Portsmouth. Nearly every single person knows its going to go wrong and they'll be sacked within a year. I try not to think about it too much as I just get so annoyed I put myself in a bad mood for a few days.
  7. The can all be camp and gay as long as they're keeping Shola out of the team. Shouldnt make a difference if he is. If he is it will be funny to see the reaction of all the insecure bigots in the ground.

    Souness

I don't think Souness was the only reason for our decline, by any means. Also, with both Liverpool and us, he took over clubs at a bad time, but having said that, I think there's a flaw in his man management skills which regularly gets exposed when the going gets tough. So definitely not. It exasperates me that half the time we're talking about stability, and the other half we're talking about changing the manager yet again. This has been such a traumatic season, on and off the field, that we can't judge Kinnear at this point. He's been firefighting, and providing he still has the support of the dressing room, he should be given a summer transfer window and another season to show what he can do. Are you taking the piss?!! Shit managers shouldn't be given time as Souness proved. Stability is vital, but at the same time, its pointless with a shit manager in charge. Souness had 3 transfer windows and over £50million when taking us from 5th to 14th. I remember arseholes like Alan Hansen calling us who wanted him out fickle and telling us to give him time. Hanson and all the other idiots who said 'give him time' were proved wrong. He fucked us up.
  9. This season has been a dream for him. Well good for him then.
  10. I quite like the AC style one. Thanks for your input anyway.
  11. http://www.berwickrangers.net/ There a vote for the new Berwick away kit next season. http://www.berwickrangers.net/images/4strips.jpg

I would assume he's at the game. Blackberrys are wonderfull things.

    Jonas Gutierrez

Enriques crossing is generally good though. The odd disappointing one, but most of the time he puts in a great ball.
  14. PSG had a good manager though. Dont know if you can take anything from that like. Im confused. Surely the difference between them and us is that they have a good manager, and we have a s*** one. Or am I being wooooshed! My point being, they only missed the drop by 3 points WITH a good manager. Not neccesarily all down to the manager. Le Guen is proven in the French league. Despite a poor season last year they must have trusted him to get it right eventually. There is no way on earth that Joe "442, come on you cunts, go out and play" Kinnear will do the same for us.

  16. We would need a decent manager to get anywhere near the top half. Unless we appoint one we have no chance.

    I Feel Sick

Its patronising shite and I can't believe its on our official site. Actually, yes I can believe its on our official site. Like something I would have read in the Berwick programme when we played Rangers in the cup 8 years ago.
  18. Good point, I forgot he was still here. Is he injured? If he's not getting a look in with the seniors he should at least be getting some reserve matches shouldn't he? (ah, the Xisco conundrum again...) He's a shocking Premier League player. His performance against Liverpool at Christmas gives me nightmares. League 1 standard at best. Worse than Huntington ever was.
  19. I think this is the problem tbh. We are relying on motivation rather than tactics. The thing, like at Bolton on Sunday, when our play isnt working because of a lack of a plan and tactics, motivation seems to be sucked out of the team. They just resort to punting it to Martins or Shola rather than following any plan. Motivations all well and good, but when its zapped straight out of the team, like it was when Bolton got their early second half goal, we're fucked!
  20. Seriously? I don't think we have ANY leaders on the pitch myself. Always concerns me when a goalkeeper is captain too.
  21. Surely even that Richard Money would be a better option than Hughton. Its ridiculous how we are trusting our Premier League status on clipboard Chris. It really is staggering. Les Ferdinand, who was at Spurs when he was a coach said as much on Football Matters last night.

    Souness

He's as bad as the idiots in charge now.

    Relegationometer

We are in real trouble. Think i said 2 or 3 when the thread started, but im up to an 8 now. We easily have good enough players, however I can't imagine us staying up without a manager. All we do is pick 442 every game, and pick players to fit that formation. Then its motivation. Theres no other tactics or any consideration for the team we're playing. If we stay up continuing without a plan, never mind a plan b where we can change a game, then we will be very very lucky. We are by far and away the least organised team in the Premier League.
  24. We werent very organised atall. This is hardly surprising considering we don't seem to have any tactics. Its like 442, then tell the players to go out and play. We play the same in every single match, dont change how we play against different teams, and don't have anybody to change to a plan b because there isnt one. The only influence the coaches seem to have is motivation.
