June 1 of this year. Because 99% of kickoffs are a dink pass three feet and then a pass back anyway. [edited to remove the stupid Tapatalk signature - got a new phone. Soz.]

Pure oxygen would be fine, so long as there was also an open flame.

Creased that some of the emergency ground crew STILL haven't gotten the hang of these field squeegees. At least the crowd is back in the seats so Univision Deportes can focus on the Colombian fanny.

The ball just needs to be "within playing distance" to avoid an impeding (obstruction) call, which varies based upon the speed at which the players are moving, so it could conceivably not be impeding if the circle of players was small enough. It would definitely be "unsporting behaviour" in the opinion of this referee regardless, and it'd be a yellow card (or even better, a second yellow) for whichever bastard I liked the least on the team that tried it.

Days later I'm still having a chuckle every time I read "Fret Astaire." So brilliant.

From the Guardian article on the Keegan arbitration decision: Ashley appointed Keegan on a three-year, £3m per annum contract in January 2008. The relationship began to unravel when, a fortnight later, Wise was hired as the club's recruitment supremo. While I expect Rafa to be personally well-protected by his contract, we still have Ashley and Charnley driving the bus, and my faith is strong in them causing this to go tits-up sooner rather than later.

Please forgive the late gif, but just got in from the Cards/Cubs game. Carry on.

Episode 3 of Behind the Badge is online now, btw: http://www.nbcsports.com/video/event/behind-badge Thoroughly enjoyed hate-watching it earlier. So many delightful moments of smug pseudo-intellectualism by old pencil lips. However, the highlight for me (apart from them being stuffed 4-0 by City) was undoubtedly the end where the silver fox

It's like they couldn't make up their minds and just said "Fuck it, let's just whack one on each side." Would probably order one if it was just the Magpie. As is, it's a pass for me.

Thank you, Sir. And to Nobody, he certainly hasn't had any help, but he's been horrible. Something I feel well qualified to judge, given a long history of personal sports horror performances.

PREM-er for me, but I also reflexively raise my pinkie when drinking tea and don't own 7 guns, so I'm hardly a model Amerucun(t). -

6'4" and 6'2" versus a max of 5'10" (not that anyone listed at 5'10" is ever remotely close (sorry, dad)). -

They all are. Aye. Just saw that on a close-up of Ayoze. Ferguson had a diagonal skipping "run" thing where he looked full-on Quasimodo a few minutes before their goal which prompted the question. Wish I'd gif'd it. -

Not that I've heard. Even my daughter's U11 team it's "man on" or often just "on." Omitting the extra syllable(s) saves time, most likely.
