As soon as the page starts opening, the very 'second' it has started, click on "Esc" at the top left of your keyboard, if you are using a standard keyboard. There may be another way to do it, but that's what I do. It works every time, but you have to be QUICK !! And what do you do if you're on your phone. If you refresh the page, as soon as it starts to load the circle with arrow changes to an x, quickly press it and it works. Genuinely impressed with that tip, that is a proper life hack ? Actually, I'd say it's a hack. As in, you're circumventing protection to gain unauthorised access to something you should not have access to otherwise. A simple hack, mind, but very effective

So positive in his post-match interview, 'Going to stay here for many years, and score lots of goals in front of the fans at St James' Park'. What a breath of fresh air.

Maximin so crucial. With Almiron on the bench and Carroll struggling to hold it up without fouling, we were over reliant on him as an outlet in that lineup.

Jetro Willems (now playing for Deportivo Castellón)

Thought he was an class above, tbh. -
On just the specific issue of who should decide the starting time of the meeting.

This is almost the exact same problem I have with Dummett. He may not be making obvious mistakes but the constant hesitation and unwillingness to go beyond halfway or overlap absolutely kills any attacking momentum. His speed wouldn't be so much of an issue if he wasn't the very definition of a head-down player in my opinion (talking about Ritchie).

Makes Hart look like Buffon

He's useless, but not hatable. He's just a regular bloke trying his best with his hometown club. If it had the layering of shit and arrogance that Pardew served up on a daily basis, or the sheer embarrassment of anything Kinnear or Carver said in press conferences, or the lack-of-caring attitude of McClaren, i.e. he always seemed to walk away or get sacked very early into contracts, especially in the Championship, I'd be inclined to loathe him more. All I feel is apathy, this is our true limbo. A place where fans can't openly criticise a manager who's obviously out of his depth, catapulted into a position with a club he had no right being near (very Pardew-esque in that regard mind). At best Bruce is just irrelevant, at least it should help focus the fanbase amongst the casuals onto the real issues here, i.e. the ownership of the club.

Thank you for taking on the outrage among us forum Yanks Ameritoon[/member] , tbh I never even thought of it that way, though now you point it out, it does seem like an angry American has written it . I had just found it hard to fathom that most people who follow the Premier League would forget about him, then bowlingcrofty[/member] turns up and disproves my entire rant-driven point

Unpopular opinion alert. Switched off from these, made the mistake of clicking the link for the latest one. '...forget that Christian Pulisic even existed'. Really? The most talented American kid of the past 20 years, possibly of all time, who signed for Chelsea. Closed tab at that point. Who does he think his audience is, exactly? Maybe Squires forgot he existed whilst trying to balance the political direction of the newspaper with football whilst dealing with the inconvenient truth that the wealth that built the company that pays him was largely generated from the backs of cotton pickers. I'm sure some of the frames are comedic in isolation, but after he burst onto the scene with a very authentic, purely football-driven approach (which was pretty much universally heralded), it quickly seemed to become yet another propaganda vehicle for the newspaper's larger agenda with football being the setting, rather than the subject.

Newcastle Utd V Sheffield Utd - 21/06/2020 @ 2pm BST (Live on Sky/beoutQ)

Literally the first couple of news conferences in FM, you learn that the best answer about tactical set ups before a game is the one about 'I'm not prepared to discuss tactical gameplans in public before a game'. Seems Brucie never learnt this. -
My interpretation of things is: Barclays Bank was on the verge of financial collapse during the GFC; Staveley asserts she put together a consortium of investors to purchase shares in Barclays Bank and thereby provide Barclay's with a large chunk of money so they wouldn't collapse (i.e. to recapitalise the bank) and that Staveley was promised fees/commissions for putting the deal together; Barclays Bank asserts Staveley was not part of the consortium of investors and was only a bit player (e.g. an advisor) and was therefor not entitled to the fees/commissions that Staveley is claiming; Barclay's Bank has not paid Staveley what she believes she is owed; and Staveley is suing Barclay's Bank to get the money she believes she is entitled to (noting that the value of that amount has been inflated by other costs accrued during the non-payment period). This is as short as I can make it whilst being as technically correct as I can be in simple-ish language. Thanks, makes sense. Does the investment capital align with our current buyers, or are they a separate entity ?

Can anyone provide me a 1 line summary of what this course case is about and why Stavely's giving evidence? Is it related to Barclays?

Last time she was reminding me of May Carlton. Now she's got a touch of the Kim Wexlers. Not in a million years, man! More Jocelyn Wildenstein tbh

Aduriz > Joaquin, in my book at least.

That doesn't really concern me. North East football is tragic, and has been for a while. Hope Sunderland can sort themselves out. Whatever we think of them they shouldn't be toiling in Division 3. The mismanagement there has been a disgrace really. Agreed. Did say, right at the start when they went down to L1, that I felt sorry for them. It's not their fault that it's their lot in life to be born in Sunderland, to grow up in that mag-hating culture. I don't get the 'what it would be like if situations were reversed' posts, like that justifies kicking them while they're fighting for their existence. It's very small-minded imho /tinhat. Be the bigger person here. Sunderland, trying to compete in the highest leagues, with us, is the most satisfying time to be a Newcastle fan.
