i went to Carlisle and thought he looked a class above the rest of the defence but he was playing next to Ramage and Carr so it doesn't say much. Seems to have composure on the ball which can only be a good thing.

I agree, we miss him when he doesnt play, particularly at home to teams that sit back as he is the one who drives us forward and makes us play through midfield instead of just humping it forward.

I wonder if that was the special train that left after ours. We were on the 5:20, and it took nigh on 2 hours for us to get back. Talk about slow! He's playing for 4th at a struggle. If we signed him, Heinze an equally good RB & Deco then i reckon we've got just a good a shout as Arsenal at 4th spot. Wouldn't underestimate Arsenal that badly. Providing they don't lose Fabregas they are still the same team as last seasons second half of the season which created a lot of chances that they didnt convert in most matches they didn't win (that i saw anyway, obv exceptions like game v us etc.) and Van Persie was just starting to hit top gear before he got crocked, plus Arsenal seem to perform better when they are being criticsed.
