At this point you can only hope that either Brentford or Wolves can sign a striker in the next few days otherwise we are up shit creek basically.
  2. I said this at half time in the match thread when Barnes kept struggling to go outside Szob because he didn't have the acceleration to do it. Gordon does.
  3. Plus the club owners can't act like fans. They have to safeguard the club assets and try to get CL football. They would get destroyed for saying let's play Osula and finish 9th instead.
  4. VAR officials might have missed that when they were saying thank you to the tea lady for handing them their beverages in official Kop mugs.
  5. I expected him to milk it a bit more tbh. In the end they went up the other end and scored the winner so perhaps he was right not to.

Think he could always play a bit tbh, that's why he got used at full back, even at Brighton. It was the lack of pace he was getting pelters for, but he doesn't often leave himself in a position to get exposed for the most part. Colossal performance today, great on the ball as well.

    Jacob Ramsey

He's gone under the radar a bit because of his injury history, but there was supposed to be some unrest in the Villa squad that they let him go.
  8. I think so. He'll have to live with the fact he's already fucked our season to some extent, points lost needlessly, for the forlorn hope that Liverpool even want him more than Ekitike. Not even sure most of them would answer yes if asked that question now.
  9. Liverpool looked ready to lose tbh, they looked delighted to have gone away with anything never mind 3 points. They all looked like they won the lottery.
  10. Don't think Liverpool will be back in with a serious bid anyway. They will be thinking Ekitike looks the business. Isak will have to mend relations.
  11. Yep, I felt the crowd lived up to the hype which made it a bit special other than the result. Liverpool shit their pants for half an hour.

    Malick Thiaw

He looked a bit off the pace but just means he needs time to acclimatise for me.
  13. Same. After we equalised I actually wanted us to drop deeper and shut off the space, but couldn't really argue too much since going for it got us back into the game in the first place.
  14. Should have been a 10 but he has to take some responsibility for the first goal.
  15. I think the most sickening thing about this result was that it felt like everything went their way. We didn't deserve that and they certainly didn't.
  16. He'll be back but tonight is not the time to talk about it. We are 5pts less than we would have been if he'd turned up for what he's paid for.

    Anthony Elanga

First time we saw just how devastating he can be. Brilliant performace all in all.
  18. Aye. When we are down to 10 men we are going to play tippy tappy stuff you daft cunt.
  19. You are right. This was lined up to be a brilliant season, he just didn't have the same vision as the rest of the lads.
  20. It was an outstanding performance but their first goal, i thought he should have closed it down better.
  21. It was as good a performance as you could ask for, they played their hearts out tonight. Just didn't get the breaks, and they got all of them. Fair play for the goals though, they took them well. That's what you pay the big money for I suppose.

    Joelinton

Scared the living daylights out of Liverpool again. Nothing went our way but they don't like coming up against him.
  23. He was brilliant while we had 11 men tbh.
  24. Just about everything that could go wrong has done.
