Sky commentators wanking themselves silly over the noise after the goal.

Robbed Minteh of a nailed on assist
-
Minteh looking quite menacing on the right.

Outtara is a winger supposedly. Not sure he's a direct replacement for Wissa.
-
It was an even bigger error on the part of Barcelona to take on that overpaid prima donna. No wonder they are having money troubles making awful decisions like that. Whoever they have as a DOF should be getting sacked.
-
Isak's not in our squad, doesn't look like we are selling him. Andrews just might not want Wissa around the first team while his commitment is questioned.
-
Also not sure how much benefit there is in bending the rules anyway. He uses Forest and Villa as examples, but how far has that got them? Just kicked the PSR can further down the road. Those are sticky plaster solutions, we need an overhaul. I am not entirely sold on how committed they are to making Newcastle number 1 now though, simply because it looks almost impossible unless we are allowed to compete for the best players.

Can you think of a better reason to write of the deluded cunt?
-
It sounds exactly the sort of rule the ESL wannabes would try to design so I imagine it will be close enough to the truth.
-
I don't think they'll sell this late in the window. Unless they think they can get Sorloth or someone at that price range assuming our preference is Wissa.
-
I don't think I've ever been confident against Liverpool, certainly wouldn't be going in as we are without a frontline striker. But I get the feeling Liverpool won't fancy this much. The atmosphere should be extremely hostile, and they are coming here with a relatively untested striker themselves. Feels like the sort of game Gordon just might pull a goal out of his hat and send Merseyside into meltdown.
-
The problem with leaving it so late is that by that point, Brentford just might not sell even at £50m because there would be no time to sign a replacement. This is why I said that with Wilson leaving at the end of the season we shouldn't have let it drag on for months. I know there were plenty of others we chased like Delap, Ekitike, Pedro etc, but we seem poorly informed about the competition for those players and what our realistic chances were.
-
When fans are talking about wanting Liverpool walking into a bear pit tomorrow, do you think it will worry them if the hate is directed at one of Newcastle's players instead of them? I don't think it will help our team much if the focus is on hating a Newcastle player, not while he's still here. I am pretty sure even Wor Flags reps have said as much.
-
I feel the same about the links with Sorloth, doesn't excite me at all. Good target man with a good goals record in Spain, but he doesn't look that quick.
-
Yeah your focus is Isak for the hatred, mine's more directed at Liverpool, more so because I don't want them walking out of St James feeling like they've won on the pitch or off it.
-
Outtara scoring the goal should help ease the loss of Wissa as well.
-
We don't need Isak to be there. Liverpool turning up after gaslighting us with lowball offers should offer plenty of focus for the hatred. I'm just hoping we give them it in spades.
-
The mackems definitely got a fake sense of worth by playing the worst team in the Premier first up.
-
I am a bit concerned that the tribute to Jota might rob us of the wall of hatred which Liverpool would ordinarliy be met with.
-
I can't think why anyone would have felt any joy from Spurs winning that Europa cup, it rewarded them with silverware and a totally undeserved CL spot. From what was until then a disastrous season.
-
Spurs under Frank are going to be a problem.
-
Said it at the time we signed Ramsdale, we got the better keeper.
-
Wilson left Newcastle at the end of May. Three months to sign his replacement and it's still not been done.
-
One thing which is becoming clearer with every month is how important it is to get the player recruitment right. Whether that's the stats guy or the scouting dept, it makes a massive difference. Just look at Graham Potter who went from being England's next manager to inevitable sacking at West Ham just on the basis of players he's working with. We've done pretty well in this regard since Eddie's been here even if we can't seem to get the CEE/DOF positions locked down.
