Depends. I would imagine a Dyche side would be heavily reliant on set pieces and chucking long balls at us aimed at their big men. Considering we have Botman and Lascelles out, you would imagine Burn will be switched to CB. That would leave us with two full backs who aren't huge, so potential joy for Everton there if they can get the delivery right.
-
I'd never noticed them before, but now I'm thinking if we play him at LB behind our other muscular young midfielder, Elliott Anderson, we could simply pound Everton's right side into the turf.
-
Is there any team which isn't scoring against us since the New Year?
-
Might end another potential source of revenue if it means Miggy is out beyond the summer. He'll be on his final year of his contract by then. Not that I thought he was going to agree to a sale anyway.
-
He's done a very decent job as a CB for the most part as well, a lot of people seem to gloss over that. I had no problem at all with him coming in to cover for Botman before his injury yesterday.

Such a shame there's players out there who we could bring here, but are restricted by Financial Unfair Play rules. We have a half decent squad, just needs a few key additions, and a few players moved on, and we'd be a CL regular club no problem.

I know Brighton are our direct rivals for a European place but I still want Liverpool to lose.
-
If 8th is enough to get us into Europe, that'll do me.
-
Perfectly timed after he's just signed a contract extension.
-
Anderson might be a long way from the finished article but he has the confidence to go for it if given the opportunity. In contrast Longstaff always looks like he hopes the ball doesn't come his way.
-
His first touch on both goals was fantastic. I've seen so many of our forwards move the ball wide, but on the first goal he cut inside the defender effectively blocking him from making a tackle otherwise it's a pen.
-
I think that's fair. He brings a lot of assets to our game like pace and skill, but he does still lack the composure of a truly top player.
-
The second one especially looked a bit dubious. If he'd got the ball I would say pen, but he was just sticking his foot in the path of the defender without actually touching the ball. Anyway, I'm not complaining, it's usually us at the wrong end of those.
-
He looked back to his best today, looked really mobile for the first time in ages, he was causing them all sorts of problems. Give me this type of striker over a 7ft hulk who can hold the ball up any day of the week.
-
I think I would too. Dubs is just stationary on his line most of the time, and he's not a great shot stopper these days either.
-
Thought his slide to get on the end of the cross (by Murphy?) was stellar as well, was a great run into the penalty area.
-
He covered loads of ground, the most out of all our players, slightly ahead of Bruno. He just didn't have the ball most of the time.
-
It really was. I said early in the week that we'd need to score 3 to win this one because I knew we'd concede, but at 3-1 down I was basically chucking in the season. The way we play with a high intensity press needs a back four with pace, and preferably CMs who are pretty athletic too. We are a mess defensively, but with the right personnel we could fix that. One thing which was really heartening though was how we never chucked in the towel. If anything we got stronger as players kept dropping like flies and replaced with subs. It says a lot about the team spirit in our squad, and whatever you might think about our tactics, you have to give Howe credit for that. This team gives everything for him and that's not all that common in professional football.

Well that went from the depths of despair to euphoria. Absolutely amazing game, one which will go down in folklore.
-
We could have scored 6 in the second half.

That's a strike from Valhalla
