It's all very well to pick his faults - and he has a few - but try finding a replacement for that money. I said the same thing earlier in this thread. The best we can do is maybe sell him at the end of the season and put that money towards a really top class striker for say £80m. But tbh, even at that price you aren't getting the finished article.

No, there's a few who think that, but then who's not guilty of that in our team? Personally I've always thought his footwork is a lot better than he gets credit for, but he has struggled this season without a doubt. Maybe due to carrying an injury, I don't know. But I agree with @The Prophet, he's looked back to his best since his return.

Yep I couldn't understand why both times he tried to take an extra touch. The goal is right there, just hit it.

I've seen the replay, if it was holding then fair enough, but they were calling it for offside in the commentary box, which seemed mad.

On the plus side he was involved as soon as he came on, might not have come off for him tonight, but at least he didn't go missing.

Not even that. There was a couple of times he was put in on goal against a defender and he lost the tussles both times. Just needed to cut across his man and show some strength.

He does his best to hold the ball up, but for someone who's 6'7 he gets pushed off the ball too easily.

We deserved more but winning it is pushing it like. They had a perfectly good goal ruled out.

We weren't bad, things just didn't go our way. We needed to put one of those chances away.
