Isn't John Carver meant to be the man who keeps Pardew up to date with how the fans are feeling? Does anyone have a link to him so he can tell Pardew he's a cunt who everyone hates?

Winnet Sports claim Glenn Hoddle linked with DOF role

No qualms with this one. Talks well, very professional, likes good football, has a track record of building and developing youth. Get that one done and then a decent manager and we're laughing. -
This is pretty much Sunderlands second team and they're putting up a good fight. Imagine the shit negativity we'd be served if we put out our second team.
-
Clearly the papers have been briefed. Echo, Daily Star and Journal all reporting it and sports direct news linking him with Roma and inter. Let's hope Pardew goes first.

What position was Ben Arfa playing on Wednesday? You just know his instructions were to play wherever and produce some magic. Expert tactical coaching and management.

The problem for me is that it's not just the current 'regime', it's football in general. The current financial set up with the champions league coupled with rich men just throwing money at clubs makes it so difficult to see how we progress. When we were poor in Bobby's first two years, you could see light at the end of the tunnel. Now, I fail to see anything more than top 6 and a fight for the cups. Granted that's an improvement on now but it's hardly massive aspirations.

No idea how we lost that 4-0. Switch the keepers and we've won at a canter. Still pathetic though. The twat needs to go immediately. Little break now so perfect time. -
Pardew has seen us go out in the 3rd round 3 times and the 4th round once, in the previous 8 years we went out on the 3rd round twice, 4th round twice, quarter finals once, semi finals once and the final twice. I don't know how anybody can compare those records and try to make our last 4 years look as if they are normal. Previous 8 years? What time period are you looking at? Pardew started in 2010, so the previous 8 years are 2001-2009. Last time we were in the final was 1999. Not that your point isn't 100% valid though.

Living in Manchester is a good laugh at the moment. After we beat them, I went over to wind one of the lads up. 'Shit football, mid table side' he says, 'Welcome to my world', 'yeah but we have a shit manager and are owned by twats'. Me and the other Toon fan in the office just looked at him in disbelief. That's the world these people live in- completely clueless. Most of them have never seen anything but success and they have no clue what's going on or what to do.

I think he's been very successful wide right. It's actually when he's been moved inside that he's been poor.
-
Yeah man, it was hardly expensive as well. Would have softened the blow of losing Cabaye but the qualities he possesses with his dribbling, close control and touch, and passing seemed like he could actually be an improvement on the long-run as he fit exactly where we needed someone to play. Not sure where this 10m stuff comes from. Maybe in the summer. Their crackpot owner said there was no chance he was moving in January because of tax reasons.
-
Looking really handy and lively. His off the ball movement needs to improve and at some point he's going to have to add some end product but he's always wanting the ball, got a good touch and can go past players. Definitely an asset.
-
Looks like he could form a good little partnership with Remy. The run and pass for Sammy at the end was quality.
-
Harsh on Elliot. I'd say he's been an adequate number 2 signed for a good price.
-
So likely that Dave Watson will step up? Did Stone do the reserve job previously. Good opportunity to bust him down and revitalise the coaching team perhaps?
-
Ha ha. I didn't even realise that was there. I used to share this account with my housemate so I assume it's a quote from some shit he was into. Cheers for the feedback!
-
Just don't like time wasters and if people know the rules, they shouldn't break them. Btw, 1. I wouldn't throw around terms like bigot because you don't agree with someone. 2. Why would I need to look up the spelling? I know how to spell.

Aye, them disabled f***ers always taking the p*ss. Probably more worried about able bodied people getting a ticket through a disabled relative/ friend and using it to the exclusion of genuinely disabled fans. I can see that would be a problem. Must be a nightmare for the stewards to spot. That's what I was getting at btw. Able bodied 'taking the piss' by using relatives to get disabled tickets. The debate is about the severity of the punishment I guess. I'm a 1 strike and you're out sort of guy. Keeps people in line!
-
He probably sells raffle tickets in his local pub. Fuckin hell- spot on. Doing alright like- those disabled twats in the pub are easy to rip off.
-
A founder of the Disabled Supporters Foundation has backed this, so that's good enough for me. I work in ticketing and anyone who buys an accessible ticket has it drilled into them that it cannot be used by someone who isn't disabled. As soon as you allow the smallest bit of slack, everyone would start taking the piss.
-
Surely Pardew is gonna play Mbiwa in the middle of the park with Anita and Sissoko. Sammy left, Hatem right, Shola up top.
-
The punishment is harsh, as said, give her a slap on the wrist, but she's clearly taken a liberty. I'd be surprised if the kids paid for their tickets. If her son couldn't afford a ticket himself, they could do what other families do when they can't afford to go to a match. Not go. You think the kids jumped the wall? I've used many different peoples season tickets, as has many a person on here i would think, and I never thought I was taking a liberty. Maybe because it's the disabled section? Would it have been ok if he'd sat down all game? It's not about not being able to afford it, the ticket was bought and paid for. It's already been established that the ticket is far cheaper than it would have been for an able bodied person. It's the same as an adult using a kids ticket. It's wrong, people do it all the time but if you get caught and punished, don't complain about it.
-
She knew that she was doing wrong. She can come over all innocent and play the disabled granny card but anyone who gets anything for being disabled knows fine well that it can't be shared with others. She got caught and now somehow has the nerve to go to the Chronicle. They probably would have told her to do one if they didn't have issues with the club currently.
-
Why do i keep hearing this nonsense? Are you suggesting dropping Remy?
-
I said earlier in this thread that his issue is a lack of urgency- both in attack and defence. I'm not convinced he'll ever be suited to English football because of that. Haidara on the other hand, while a lesser player, is far more dynamic and better suited. As we're playing for fuck all now, I'd give Haidara the rest of the season and move santon on in the summer.
