They don't want to give him a new contract because he's been injured for a year and he's out of contract next summer. So they're moving on while he maintains some value. Nothing's overly sinister since he's behind Haidara and Janmaat. Leaves the squad criminally weak but we know they don't care about that.
-
Definitely. Got a proper shit eating grin and saying how proud he is. Twat

Playing the long game. It'll make sense when De Boer takes over.
-
He writes great as usual. However, and I've said this before, his arse kissing article on Pardew while on tour with the side after the near relegation season was absolutely unforgivable. A lot of shite about being 'refreshed and focused' when the fraud should have been getting run out of town. Evidence that Caulkin is no different to every journalist- happy to hammer someone they never see but doesn't have the stones to criticise someone they have to sit in front of in a press conference.

I'm starting to despise this guy more and more. He must be as delusional as Pardew if he thinks he has the skills to manage us. He seems to have some weird sense of entitlement at the moment. Other than us, the clubs he's worked at are Luton, Sheff Utd, Leeds and Toronto. The good thing about him having ideas above his station is that his nose will be put out if he doesn't get the job and he'll sharp fuck off elsewhere.

Rémi Garde and the case of the missing art galleries

I would rather Garde then De Boer- although admittedly I have seen little of Lyon or Ajax. Garde's experience of England is key. Additionally, De Boers stellar career and higher profile means he's more likely to move on quickly or struggle with a lack of complete control. Either would be superb progressive appointments. -
I thought we didn't release any transfer fees? Plus the lascelles and darlow deals put us over the break even for cabaye and debuchy (assuming cabella 12 and rivière 6)

Shite first half, absolutely abysmal second half. No idea what he currently offers.

Newcastle United vs Burnley - 01/01/15 @ 3:00PM (not on TV)

Nailed it. -
They'll have the day off after 2 games in 3 days. Back in tomorrow probably which I also his Burnley press conference.
-
He's not amazing but this is getting out of hand. He was very good against Chelsea and against City in the cup. To suggest he's contributed nothing only weakens the argument.
-
Strange game to play him in. He'll be up against Baines or Coleman, probably fail to track one of them at one point and he'll never play again.
-
I'm actually an Anita fan but we've never seen anything to suggest he's significantly better than Colback. Both are neat and tidy and work hard. That's about it. Anita has never produced a performance for us as good as Colback against Chelsea.
-
Class. Set pieces are woeful though!
-
He's definitely much better from the left. On the right you can just show him inside and remove the threat. From the left, he is a threat going down ways. 2 years ago, he created goals down the left against Bordeaux, Man U and Arsenal with excellent bits of play and then our clown manager never looked at it again.

This apologist prick is dead to me now. He can fuck off with Pardew. Interesting how all the players not good enough are making noise supporting him (gouffran, Williamson, coloccini) while we get nothing from senior players like Sissoko, Tiote, Krul.
-
Strange that his best performances were against Chelsea and Spurs then.
-
Yeah I come round to everyone else's way of thinking eventually! Just hard to take when anyone with any class or honour would have resigned already.
-
I often wonder if turning this round personally is a way to get rid of the vile twat. Banners about his adultery would make him start to panic...
-
The same Palace that won at Goodison while we can't beat anyone?
-
Fucking nerve of Pardew trying to get in the photo behind the lad with the shit gel fringe. The guy to his left is Steve Bruce's nephew. Pointless bit of knowledge.
-
You could get 10/1 before the Soton game. It was ridiculous. Assuming Pardew stays in charge, I have us on 8 points going into the new year where I guess he's have to be sacked. Asking a lot for a new manager to take 30 points from 19, even if we do address the major holes in our squad.

Sick of seeing this nonsense. In yesterday's side and for most of the season, he's been used in the role Anita played last year. The Cabaye replacement is clearly de jong and Cabella played in Cabaye's number ten position yesterday. The nonsense is people like you who still bury their heads in the sand about this. He is the Cabaye replacement and the first name on the team sheet. Interesting when he hasn't once played in the position Cabaye played in. When de jong was fit, he played there and Sissoko has played there when De Jong wasn't fit- which is the same situation as last year. Assuming a midfield three of tiote, colback and de jong, it's fairly clear to see that colback has replaced Anita and de jong has replaced Cabaye.
