  1. Would be nice to see him with Remy. Looks a decent link up player and half decent in the air.
  2. You only have to look at Adam Johnsons current form to see that a good manager can work wonders with a player. Our manager is a talentless twat. Draw your own conclusions.
  3. The guys a clown, no debate. But I could pull one line from any manager in the world and make them look a twat. There's not one thing wrong with what he says. 7th or 8th is where we fit in terms of club size, revenue etc but he wants to give it a go to go higher.
  4. It's too congested for Hatem in the middle. He needs to be wide right trying to isolate a full back so he can past them on the inside or outside.

    Loïc Remy

I wasn't suggesting Remy was the same player as Henry. They share many of the same traits and both are at there most effective when allowed to roam from wider positions rather than being up front by themselves.

    Loïc Remy

Henry is a good comparison. Henry wouldn't be at his best playing up front by himself. He should be playing from the left.
  7. Aye the 5 weeks since the last game in that is killing them....god damn FA I blame Greg Lesbian. Christ- really should have added a Pards grin to my comment.
  8. The Europa League is really killing Swansea. The format of that competition really needs to be looked at....
  9. Big fan of Santon's ability but I'm just not convinced he has the intensity to be a really effective premier league player- both in attack and defence. He should be really driving at sides but the pace is always a bit slow with him. It's the case in defence as well where he's often a bit passive. Santon is and probably always will be the better player but I think Haidara will be better in the premier league. He has he tenacity and drive to be so once he learns how to defend!
  10. Pathetic today. Taking Anita off after they'd just put another man in midfield must go down as one of the most ridiculous decisions ever. Shows that he literally has no idea about the game.
  11. What does that utter bullshite mean? What laws have the Chronicle broken? Lying bastards. I read that as referring to negative coverage since the ban and how they will react to that going forward.
  12. Some exec makes a comment about league being a priority over cups and all of a sudden Pardew has a ready made excuse. We played a strong side with more than enough talent to turn over fucking Cardiff. Yet we didn't- because Pardew is a negative clueless twat who has no concept of finishing a game off.
  13. Guy at work is a mackem. Went home for Xmas and came back with a black eye. Turns out his cousin punched him and his nan on Boxing Day. Classy.
  14. If you want to simply judge our performance against the size of the stadium, then you're very misguided. What's the theory there? That we should be 3rd in the league? Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool have endless money. Man U and Arsenal have larger stadiums and have been constants at the top of the table for 20 years. So that's 5 clubs that we can't compete with. Unfortunately that's the way football is now. That leaves Everton and Spurs that we're competing with for 6th. And we're doing a pretty decent job this year. The cups are the main area where we need to be much, much better as thats where we can make an impact. Hopefully we'll have a decent FA cup run.
  15. Went to Burnley-Blackpool with the father in law yesterday. Ings works hard and seems to have a knack for scoring at that level but lacks the pace, physicality and touch of class to be truly effective in the Prem. Tom Ince was class if a little greedy. I'd be greedy too if I was twice as good as all my team mates. He still created 2 or 3 really good chances. Kieron Trippier, the Burnley right back who came through Man City's ranks, was the other top class player on show. He's going to be a top player. He pretty much started every one of Burnleys attacks with really clever passing and his crossing was superb. Dan Gosling was anonymous apart from one ghost into the box that forced a brilliant save.
  16. The papers will moan about this but it's only right if you ask me. They should pay for access and share the profits they make by having these exclusive interviews. They will say that they provide publicity- like someone from Apple giving an interview to a technology journo. The problem is that those in charge of papers are hugely wrong if they think football clubs need them to drum up interest in this day and age. Not with the amount of tv coverage and material on the Internet.
  17. Re Ben Arfa, it's easy to blame Pardew for his failings when the reality is that he's played the best football of his career under Pardew. He's always been a massively frustrating and inconsistent player despite being one of the most naturally talented players in the world. That's why he plays for us. Pardew actually managed to get some consistent football out of him until he did his hammy last year. Since then, he's been very, very hit and miss.
  18. They've had one shot on target and that was after 13 seconds from a shit back pass. Got what they deserved for a negative second half.
  19. Does he get credit for 3 set piece goals in the last 5 games? Startling improvement on last year. All 3 goals scored by 6"4 monsters as he explained as well......
  20. Bernard vs Arsenal saw me and my mates take down a 30 pint tower we'd put together in Bar Oz in town. Unreal celebrations silenced immediately as the glass smashed everywhere.
  21. It's not about money, if that was the case, why didn't it happen earlier? Because the publicity wasn't there and because they would alienate themselves from The club which could lead to longer term loss. As the club has banned them, the publicity and alienation has been sorted for them.
  22. I don't care why they're doing it, only that they are and it's about time. I care why they're doing it. Because this proves that they don't actually give a shit about the club. They just want the attention and sales that go with this. And when the momentum dies a bit or it gets a bit tougher, they'll stop. In it solely for the money.
  23. These twats are intolerable at the moment. Like they are on some sort of crusade against Ashley. Only it's taken them being banned before they did anything.
  24. Been very poor this season and currently being kept out the side by Neil Danns. Think that leg break- which required two pins- has done for him.
