Same- I'm actually nervous that we might sneak a result. desperate for us to get hammered. Absolutely despise Pardew for that. -
NUFC media bans - Telegraph now banned from club

Pisses me off that. Pardew contradicts himself weekly but not one journo has the stones to list all of his bullshit like sackpardew.com has. Spineless twats who take on Ashley because they don't have to stand in front of him weekly like they do Pardew. -
He's obviously hugely talented and writes with passion but he gives Pardew a ridiculously easy time. Not sure he has the stones to criticise someone he has to sit in front of consistently. His piece on Pardew last summer was disgusting and would have conned a lot of our fans.
-
Much better on the right wing. It's where he should be for us- with Aarons on the other side.
-
Remi Garde and Frank De Boer would be interesting appointments. I would imagine that Sherwood and Di Matteo would be favourites with Moyes as a potential.
-
I find it astonishing that you can still get 10/1 on us to go down. No goals, unable to defend and already 4 points down on the same games last year. I can genuinely see us getting to the new year having not won a game- we're that badly mismanaged.
-
We've just got to hope this is the straw that breaks the back of the crowd. Hatem scoring against us after we've been smashed at Soton after the end of this transfer window could be create a great atmosphere.
-
Why is everyone complaining? If we don't beat Leicester, Hull or QPR at home, then we could possibly go into the new year having not won a game. That would have to see Pardew off right?
-
I can see him barely playing and them not taking up the option of a perm deal. They have already signed Manolas and Astori who started at the weekend and they have Leandro Castan and Romognoli as well. Hopefully he'll come back next year and we'll have a competent manager.
-
More common in football than you think. Mate of mine looks after accounts at a club and tells me another QPR player failed a medical at another club a week before joining QPR due to recreational drugs.
-
Clearly talking about Taylor.
-
I quite like Mbiwa but I'm not sure where this best defender stuff comes from. We need a new centre half so if Mbiwa goes and is replaced by someone better I'm happy. Would I rather Taylor went? Of course, but the fist pumping prick is dragging his heels and won't go. We have Lascelles coming next year so if we signed Van Dijk to replace Mbiwa, we'd have two good young centre halves and could look at another next summer if Taylor and Colo went.
-
He doesn'tz. Usual bullshit from Chronicle.
-
Lad at work is gutted about this. Reckons both have huge potential. Then again, he didn't rate Perch so what does he know.
-
9 at the back does tend to help not concede for a while like. I thought we countered quite well and kept the ball ok for the first 45 mins.
-
Didn't we play wing backs on the last day of the season? Worked ok.
-
We have a worse squad now.
-
I'm not sure it is in his best interests to sit on his contract. Not many clubs will want him when he's barely played a game in a year a half.
-
Not convinced at all that we've done brilliant business. At the end of last summer, everyone was unhappy with the squad. Since then, all we've done is replace cabaye, debuchy, Ben arfa, remy and gosling with de jong, janmaat, cabella, rivière amd colback. That first four is going to have to do something special to be as good as the 4 they are replacing.
-
Well there is that, but at least we can field someone there with 4 on the books. Colo has missed 22% of our league games in the last 2 years.
-
We can't seriously go into a season with 3 centre halves. Colo and Taylor are absolute crocks.
-
Zaha had Debuchy in lots of trouble when they came here. Got bags of potential. Somewhere like Everton could bring out a great player.
-
If we'd went for Rickie Lambert 4 years ago, everyone would have been saying the same. In fact, I think a lot were when we were linked with him after the Carroll sale.
-
I think they want rid of him following the Morrison incident. There was talk of him sueing them for not backing him over it wasn't there? Handy little player.

Townsend according to tomorrow's Journo.
