  1. Stronger or more 'much of a muchness'? Don't watch it to be honest so its a genuine question. 10 teams fighting at the top can mean either scenario and if there are 10 teams there because they are all at a similar level then it should make it eaiser to come straight back up
  2. He's made himself look an absolute fool after his comments at the end of last season, the press will have a field day when it happens, his words "the blame stops at my door". His interview said 'we will not be in this situation again'. He was right, last season we had a chance to save ourselves in the last game...
  3. This is Southampton away, we'd still manage to lose in that scenario on Saturday. Le Tiss would probably be making a comeback from the bench to make it happen as well
  4. Would be tempted to give Woodman and Armstrong a season rather than bringing Elliott back when fit and hangin onto Cisse.
  5. Aren't you forgetting another club? Unfortunately can see you getting out of it.
  6. There are still 9 points that we should be looking at - Swansea, Palace, Villa with 2 nailed on losses - Southampton, Liverpool. So its down to can we win those 3 games and pick up 3 points from City and Spurs who could both have nothing or everything to play for when they arrive I reckon 12 will be enought to stay up, but not exactly confident that we'll get them. If we get 12 then its Norwich and Palace who go down with Villa
  7. It's Southampton, away. 3-0 standard loss on the cards. Or maybe a heart wrenching 3-2 loss after leading 2-0 with 5 to go
  8. Annoyingly seconds after Cisse came on a cross came over that was just to high for Cisse but that would have been perfect for Mitrovic
  9. City and Spurs are likely to be dead rubbers when they come around. They are exactly the sort of games where a team in the bottom 4 or 5 pick up random wins against the top 4. For me its only Southampton that we are nailed on to get zip from, every other game has potential for at least a point if we apprach them right. Not including Leicester in the zip's as god only knows how we'll turn up tonight. A point will be a massive bonus though
  10. How could any young multi millionaire footballer fail to be inspired by that man?
  11. http://i83.photobucket.com/albums/j316/liz_marcs/Reaction%20Gifs/X8Ufi_zps62cda975.gif I wouldn't even open the window
  12. We'll get something from the Spurs game. It will be a dead rubber for them.
  13. So the remit is: No external money put in by the owner Need to make a profit Policy is to buy players below their peak and in less attractive markets Stay in the Premier League You have all of the Premier League, Sky and ticket money to work with You have to work for MA. Course I'd take it. Easiest job in the world
  14. You really wouldn't be surprised if that 'attempt' at a save comes up in a future bungs trial
  15. There is absolutely no chance that he’ll play professional football again! Look at Ched Evans! The Rix situation was well before Savile and the rest of the nonce brigade were exposed too! If you tolerate Rix, your Children will be next. Great chant
  16. Looking at that its possible that we'll have City and Spurs when they have nothing to play for. Any other team and that would be 6 points but for us.... in the good old Eurovision tradition.....nil points
  17. At least the second half is worth watching for the return of the Jack Colback 10th yellow card watch
  18. As much as I hate Jack I'm not sure there's much to choose between any of the options at the moment. At least at LB his back passes will be limited to Elliot. But he usually pivots to the left to try and pass to Dummett. You should look for odds for more than 50 throw ins to Chelsea as he gets confused
  19. For me this is a 'build on lthe last performance and don't let the GD take a hammering' game. Anything else is a bonus, but a Mitro goal or Gini away goal would be nice
  20. Apart for losing the six on the spin joviality I wasn't too fussed with them equalising yesterday - keeps Swansea in the pack and its still the head to head plus 2 wins to get in front of them
  21. It will worse than shit. It was bad enough spending nothing 5 years ago. Imagine our team of Nigel Quasies playing in a league where flipping Stoke have £15m midfielders. If we go down not a penny will be spent and this time at best we'll be in Championship purgatory
  22. A huge worry is that if we do go down he will see that spending cash has still resulted in relegation and we'll be right back to the shoe string operation
  23. He will only last 2 games, but Fistpumps will at least give a bit of giving a damn on the pitch.
