And they have two world class drivers
-
Just looks like Shrewsbury Town lion but it's out for vengeance for whoever burnt it's house down
-
No. Apart from the corner in the east stand wasn't too bad from my view anyway. I had 7 seats to my left all empty and 8 in front of us. It was like a cup game

Was a bit of a weird game, all of our players had 7 out of 10 games and I think McClaren was terrified of losing it the longer it went on. Tiote and Anita were pretty good but there was no need for both of them. Anita pulled off one great block in particular to deny Shaqiri in the second half. Perez started on fire, every touch was fantastic but he faded badly. Mitrovic couldn't get in the game as their centre halves dominated him for the most part. I could see why he brought De Jong on as we were struggling to get a clear chance created but he was slow and fairly hopeless in truth, I can't see him being here much past January. Thauvin probably should have come on but then again whipping in cross after cross with their centre halves would have been fairly pointless. Mbemba was the pick of the back 4 I'd say, but that's a bit like being the tallest dwarf. Coloccini got left on his arse twice in the space of about 10 seconds by Shaqiri, he badly needs replacing. As somebody else said though, a total lack of urgency towards the end, we never really built up ahead of steam and battered them but I suppose that wasn't helped by Stoke's general antics and Crouch keeping the ball in the corner. I was confident of a win at Bournemouth but by the looks of things we'll have our 4th choice keeper in and possibly no Janmaat, so that'll be a big help...they concede a lot and we can't score so something's got to give

Save your triple captain for a double game week
-
I've always wanted to throw him to the wolves
-
Be absolutely ridiculous if he is, they were nowhere near the playoffs when he took over and worked wonders to get them promoted. wouldn't be surprised if he doesnt see out the season such is football They were 7th when he took over, he did well but it wasn't exactly hopeless
-
It was only last week they were irate at McClean inciting the fans, Johnson was just as culpable even without over thinking the aeroplane gesture
-
Micah Richards seems to be at fault for an awful lot of the goals Villa concede
-
Is anybody able to give me an account of what happened to Borussia Dortmund after winning the Champions League in 1997? Hitzfeld left and they finished midtable under the new manager, was there a reason or did they just struggle to cope under the pressure of success?

John O'Shea is unbeaten in something like 22 games against us. It's mad.

Look at the losses: 0-3 - di Canio, our players were shagged after UEFA cup QF loss, ended the game with 6 up front. Easy to forget Cisse had an equaliser incorrectly disallowed 2-1 Poyet arrives, we have Williamson and Dummett as our only centre halves. Ffs. 0-3. Cabaye leaves, everybody livid. Williamson and Taylor at CB 0-1. Pardew has everybody up front by the end, game where both sides missed a lot of chances. Alnwick in net. 1-0 Defoe wonder strike but awful game of football. Janmaat at CB with Williamson, Colback and R Taylor full backs. Not excuses as we deserved to lose every one of those games with the possible exception of last seasons home defeat, but it will be nice if nothing goes awry in the run up to this one

Just think this idiot is reffing the derby
-
Sure - but I prefer the oppositions wingers not to be able to cross the ball under absolutely no pressure. That might be about more than formation but it is a real problem for us That was happening when we had actual wingers playing wide too. Sissoko second half actually did his job and we didn't concede, first half he barely bothered tracking their left back and Janmaat isn't the best defender in the first place. Did Gini ever play wide in Holland?
-
Great block led to our 3rd goal. Otherwise don't remember him doing much except the usual backwards and sideways stuff
-
Didn't it happen in a Euro 2008 game? Seem to remember Holland being involved, some defender was way off the pitch but was deemed to be playing everybody onside
-
Hopefully Sagna gets the assist added, seems harsh he hasn't got it
-
Sagna should play now both kolarov and clichy are out

Goal music

Do we know where Darlow is yet? There's only us could have a sub keeper who's knacked himself doing nout
-
We weren't last season, doubt this will be any different.

Can't say I agree, we were utterly shite once the honeymoon period wore off. Mind you he inherited the likes of Owen and Martins who didn't fit his system. But above all, he signed Alan Smith
