I was going to say the same thing, that is a fantastic article and sums up NUFC under this regime brilliantly, i know you have sent it to the Mag but you should be posting that all over twitter, the numerous NUFC fan pages on facebook including True Faiths and even send it to the Chronicles letters page. It should be essential reading for every NUFC fan.

exactly Ashley seems very thin skinned and doesn't like criticism, any other protests whether big or small seem to have got some sort of reaction from him.

Bearing in mind that according to the board, the manager and the players the season has been "a success" will they be doing a lap of honour at the end of the game??? especially if we fluke a win and guarantee that top 10 finish!

You would expect we would have been watching his progress throughout the season, whether that is by watching videos of matches or even sending one of the scouts/coaching staff over to check him out, seems mental to now make a decision on player by monitoring him in pre-season games.

Think he goes back after Saturday games, back on Monday then goes back on Tuesday nights as Wednesday is always a day off for team when we don't have midweek games, then back on Thursday morning for training. Day off lol. I wonder who benefits from that the lazy c*** So the extra day we gain from not being in Europe we are off on?? so basically his non preparation excuse was bullshit I am happy to use anything to beat him but I am pretty certain the Wednesday off is a pretty standard thing with most clubs, I know the west ham players were pissed off when Allardyce cancelled it and made them come in for training, during there bad run and the trip to the horse racing that they had organised had to be binned.

more arse licking from Beardsley, i would doubt he would get a coaching job at any other premier league side. From what i have seen of him at reserve and youth team games his main use and purpose is putting out the cones and handing out bibs!

why have we just announced to our opposition that our goalkeeper is injured and Elliott will play, that has surely just given Southamptons coaching staff 24 hours to get out the videos, look at Elliotts weaknesses and work out how they can exploit them.

Armstrong should have come on instead of Shola instead of just having 5 mins at the end. We were crying out for a bit of pace up front and bringing on Shola to play with De Jong was just plain daft.
