    John Carver

i don't need a computer to see we got overran against Burnley i saw it perfectly well from my seat in the Gallowgate end.
  2. Game of two halves? I seem to recall Burnley hitting the bar qith Alnqixk beaten all ends up after 29 seconds. yeah and after the first minute we more of less dominated the 1st half, that's like saying they didn't dominate the 2nd half cos Sissoko scored a goal

    Adam Armstrong

We are going to destroy this lads confidence if we keep playing him like this, he has no chance if we are going to bang balls up to his head all the time.
  4. it's going to be another Carroll situation, we will rebuild the team with the transfer fee we get off this lad...
  5. just got back and that was a classic game of 2 halfs, thought we were excellent in the first half after the early escape when they hit the post in the first, we looked bright and the forwards were interchanging well and causing plenty of problems, even Gouffran was more "upfront" and not on the left backs toes and baring the comedy OG from Dummett we looked really good. Then the 2nd half started and we just fell apart, we were all over the place, Tiote had a shocker and Colo wasn't to far behind him. Least said about the subs the better, suppose every change you make is a kind of gamble but all 3 of ours ended up making us poorer.
  6. true but I am wanting the win more so we don't have all the media etc coming back saying how worse off we now are cos Pardew as left rather than potentially pushing Carver nearer the job.
  7. don't want him but look how much of an improvement he made with the Pardew's Southampton team when he took over them.
  8. he is still a young lad, think it's too early to be writing him off yet.
  9. I am sorry like but Colback is a better player than Anita. I have yet to see anything from Anita that makes him get the adulation he receives on this board.
  10. How many times now has he come out and blamed getting caught up with the atmosphere and crowd willing the team on as an excuse for losing?? Once you have been caught out losing a game in that fashion, your professional pride and knowledge should make sure it doesn't happen again, it's at least 3 times we have been caight out like that. totally not good enough at this level.
  11. yeah but that's cos NP have the day sewn up and well organised, take the police away and there would be hell on.
  12. oh god please don't say that was shown on SSN?

    Remy Cabella

Cabella's initial pass to Ayoze was even worse though, if he'd knocked it in front of him Ayoze would have been clear through and wouldn't have even needed to return the pass to Cabella and if he did could have done it when they got to the edge of the box and took keeper out of the game.

    Paul Dummett

haha i was just about to say the same thing, a plug for the new poplular side fanzine and a dig at True Faith.
  15. Not sure if he has been injured but he played 65 mins for the U21's last night against Boro.

    Kieron Dyer

Lee Ryder obviously watched the Fantasy football show last Friday as his article is basically a re-hash of what Dyer was saying on the show. More lazy jounalism or just a slow news day in Thomson house??

    St James' Park

surely would have been better off on the gallowgate roof directly above the goal, seems to be where most clubs put there screens/scoreboards.
  18. Every game fell apart when he was subbed out, and now he just doesn't play. But he's still the f***ing manager, and Shay f***ing Given thinks he can fix this. By the time everyone agrees "Oh yeah Pardew has been terrible" it'll be six months too late. This is why fans have to act and make voices heard for the best interests of the club. Otherwise nobody stands up and points out what's wrong. I loved Shay Given but leaving us to relegation to have a short taste of some minor glory at City was absolutely rank from him, especially in the middle of a terrible season. He condemned us to our fate and left, so he can f*** right off. Fuck them, the "fans" had there chance to act and make there voices heard at the Hull game but the vast majority of SJP showed they are perfectly happy with the manager and owners running of the football club, he should have been run of town that day. It'll be a case of after the horse has bolted if it turns nasty against Leicester. In fact i will happily take relegation if it pushes Ashley closer to the exit door.
  19. i take it tickets will be hard to get then?
  20. Just been looking at fixtures for May as going over to germany now got to decide which game will be best between Dortmund v Hertha Berlin Monchengladbach v Leverkusen Cologne v Schalke

Ashley maybe ruining the club but Pardew is ruining the team!
  22. played well today but someone from the medical side of the club needs to do something about his cramp issues, constantly cramping up in latter stages of games can't be a good thing.

Aye that makes sense let's stand out on the touchline for the opening 10 mins, inflaming the situation and more than likely starting the abuse 5 minutes earlier than the planned 5th minute protest when i have no doubt the start of the game will have full backing to the team if he just sits down and watches the game.
