  1. Footy fans are morons in general. Look at our lot, many wanted Bobby peddled. Means nowt. He did a very good job at Boro, keeping them up, winning a trophy, getting to Europe and bringing on youth. They would f***ing kill for those days now. I know plenty of Everton fans who constantly asked questions of Moyes and were delighted to see him leave. For the time Middlesbrough were pretty big spenders which helped contribute to the success. The football was awful which I believe was why the fans didn't like him. While you can say that perhaps McClaren has had more success, I would say he has also had a lot more failure too.
  2. With Hatem performing so well for his club and getting called up to France, Pardew has played this one to perfection. Really had his eye on the long term goals there.
  3. Fastest hat trick in history.
  4. That went well last time. I seem to remember a great result against us.
  5. That Ranieri needs to take a lesson off of Pardew on how to act appropriately on the touchline. It'd have been pretty sweet to see Ranieri nut Pardew and call him a fucking cunt.
  6. That says more about you than any LFC fan. First time I'll do this on here, but you're on a toon forum talking s*** about Keegan. You lack a working functioning brain. Loser? Hope Gerrard's slip haunts you every night. Why would it haunt me? I've been there for many, many trophies won, and a few lost, just one of those things. I'm quite happy just to read this thread, it always makes me laugh, but HTT saying Klopp was a modern day Keegan, ffs, I had to respond to that. Surely, lacking a 'working functioning brain' would have me agree with him, when, imo, that would be delusional as well. No because anyone who has a 'working functioning brain' could see what Keegan achieved here was phenomenal and can only be viewed as a success.
  7. Which one is the shit De Jong?
  8. It's alright, after six or seven more losses in a row we'll replace McClaren with Steve Bruce. Assuming we're lucky enough for him to have been fired by Hull.
  9. "And there are issues that need to be addressed both on and in the dressing room if the club is to climb the table." There are problems on the dressing room?
  10. The problem is all the damage he did in striking fear into our players and picking them for being s**** has left a nasty stench and the fact that the downward spiral has continued and he left mid-freefall makes it look from the outside that we were doing better under him. Truth being we would be in this predicament no matter who we had. This is a weird twist of reality. He left and we've got worse. It isn't juju, it's just the facts. He left us in midtable and we've done our best to get relegated since. Other teams have terrible managers. Get in a better one and get better results. We've just replaced him with uninspired dross and the squad is weak. What a f***ing cringe. Pardew sends our best player away because said best player correctly thinks he's a complete c*** and there's supposed Newcastle fans bemoaning his departure and wetting themselves that he's why we've got worse? Aye you're not f***ing kidding he's the reason we've got worse. Get yourself a f***ing Crystal Palace season ticket and have done with it will you? The reason why we are sitting 19th isn't because of Alan Pardew. Didn't know you supported Sunderland.
  11. How refreshing is it for a manager to actually use common sense. Been saying this for years that you need strikers to help make space for creative players. The harder working / more physical the better, as long as they provide a threat so they don't get ignored. I thought Riviere after his first couple of games might do this for Perez but he was proven to be turboshite quite quickly. Had Perez even played for us in Riviere's first couple of games?
  12. Is Ben Arfa now joint top scorer in Ligue 1 alongside Cavani now?
  13. Some autocorrect going on there. You get the picture.
  14. You literally once declared yourself as one of the most erudite posters on the board and also declared if anyone has ever felt they thought anything you've ever posted is nonsense then they need to reevaluate their own opinions. Both correct statements after months of stick. 95% chance you've misunderstood or need to reevaluate your opinion aye. If you think what i've posted is nonsense. Big difference between disagreeing and nonsense. Not in the business of spouting nonsense. Erudite means knowledgable right? There the whole "know more than others" isn't projecting, you actually said you are more knowledgable. So that's some nonsense right there. You also commented on how tall aren't is once, obvious nonsense. So both your statements aren't true. The fact of the matter is you are just immensely arrogant.

  16. It is over the course of 130 games, so a yellow card every other game/other two games - which is no different to someone like Matic. For a striker? How many goals did he get in that time? 70. Not bad for a 20 year old.
  17. Spurs didn't have Dele Ali playing at MK Dons. He was an MK Dons player and signed for Spurs this summer. edit: i'm chatting shit. He signed for Spurs last Jan and went back to Dons on loan for the rest of last season.
  18. OK, I mistyped the stadium name(but to old timers like me, Man C will ALWAYS be associated with Maine Rd !), but READ MY POST...Did I, or did I not say HBA was TAKEN OUT BY DE JONG.. Incidentally, HBA could also be inconsistent but how you have come to deduce that I was stating that in connection with the de Jong tackle, I have no idea. Tbf your whole post didn't really seem to have much of a coherent point to it, you basically trotted the "french wingers are moody" line out Mercurial 'flair' players do tend to be moody & inconsistent. It's how i interpreted Merlin's post - don't see any reference made to "moody French wingers". Yours on the otherhand was just jibberish. In short, you're a fuckwit. A mercurial player has to be inconsistent otherwise he wouldn't be mercurial.
  19. To be fair to Sunderland, don't they have a ridiculous record at home v Man City? edit: what Tiresias said.
  20. Last week we played with 0 strikers while 2-0 down. This week we sat back and defended to secure a 0-0 draw and a point, while keeping attacking players on that allowed us to counter attack and nearly secure a late win. There is a difference. edit: and if the issue is that people are too desperate to get on the back of McClaren then why draw issue with people not being upset about sitting back to get the draw? It doesn't back up your argument does it?
  21. That one drives me mad. He just puts his body in front of the ball, doesn't touch anyone and then the Swansea man slides through him.
  22. I read this at first as a boxing match with a kitty. TCD versus a Kitten - the battle of the titans.
