    Modric

    Maric mk 2 to tbh
  4. Luciano Figueroa Perfect example for forgien players not being able to adapt to the premiership. hardly given a chance tbf
  5. would be useful on the right wing with his pace
  6. Kevin Keegan is interested taking striker Dean Ashton to Newcastle for West Ham. (Mirror) Keegan is also keen on Liverpool defender John Arne Riise. (Mirror) http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/gossip_and_transfers/7204034.stm
  7. If I could pick someone outside the EPL I`d go for Edmundo........renowned for fighting on the pitch and a nutter. Jan Koller would be more than handy too
  8. John Terry? Andy Todd? (bit of a reputation, had a fight with Kiely and gave him a black eye IIRC) Gravesen? (looks like a hooligan)
  9. not a Keegan quote but this was a comical one from Chris Kamara at the weekend for his live appraisal of Benjani Mwaruwari's performance against Derby. "It's back to the old Benjani, shooting from 35-yards and hitting the corner flag," surmised Kamara - before the striker slotted an ice-cool hat-trick to see off Derby to the tune of 3-1.
  10. funny how the majority of the people who have posted on this thread have said Beardo .......yet Gazza is way in the lead with 84%! (63 votes to 12 currently)
  11. i reckon he`ll stay and `fight for his place` if Pompey do put a bid in for him
  12. he`s a nutter found another clip (practical joke played on him on Colombian TV) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yljt7uUb5nw
  13. he can play all across midfield. At River Plate he played on the right wing mostly but I presume he plays more central for Porto Garay is a mountain of a defender
  14. would like to see us try to go for Lucho Gonzalez. Would be perfect on the right wing
  15. Sorry OT, but can't help it. That's bulls**t. Bundesliga is a lot more entertaining than Premier League. ;D O-M-G... i'd say that the quality of play is about the same.. too much running, too little football.. compared to Spain or South America, for example.. the premier league is OVERRATED!
  16. Sorry OT, but can't help it. That's bulls**t. Bundesliga is a lot more entertaining than Premier League. agreed

    Beckham

not enough shops here for his wife
  18. What a class act that man has been over his career, it's a shame Houllier never played him more in his time over here. His game was never all about pace though, more how he was always a couple of moves ahead of everyone else on the pitch and his amazing close control and passing, could still be a good asset. champ man legend
  19. b******. > about 2 million as well What? just to drive you even closer to a heart attack i meant 2 million euros Apparently Ajax fans say he`s a `so so` player and 2m euros is very reasonable.
  20. whatever. He also says in his book he wasn't happy with the direction the club was taking. He said exactly the same thing in his press conference this week. He also says in his book that Everton wanted to buy Les Ferdinand for 6m quid and they wanted to take the money to lift the flotation price, which he resisted. Who was the first major player sold by Dalglish ? Yes. You guessed it. I think we had to choose at the time....selling Ferdinand or Asprilla? and we went kept Asprilla (which was a mistake IMO) What a waste of talent. exactly.......he could have been a top top player if he had his head screwed on right
  21. we might face some fierce competition mind Burnley could make a shock £750,000 move for Dundee United captain Barry Robson (Mirror).
  22. Keegan admits change of ownership influenced Newcastle return Kevin Keegan admits a change of ownership at Newcastle United had a big say in convincing him about returning to St James' Park. Keegan said: "If you think about the finish it was disappointing. Sir John Hall [the former owner] couldn't even be bothered to come back and say goodbye, yet the two guys who saved the club were talking to each other five years earlier. I wouldn't probably go out for dinner with him, Freddie [shepherd, the former chairman] or Douglas Hall [a former director], though I do respect them."
