There is an interview with him in a Swedish magazine called "Offside", like our version of FourFourTwo. The interview was done very recently and this particular issue came out today. Anyway this is what he says when asked if he wants to become teammates with Aleksandr Hleb... "Well, I have to say I barely know whats written or said about me these days. Im not even sure I'll end up in England, eventhough there has been talk about going to Tottenham and Newcastle. Spain would also be an interesting option. I like the style of football down there. But no, I really don't know where I'll be playing after the summer." But you're sure you'll be on the move? "Yes. I told the club that I would be moving in the summer when I signed my latest contract. I want to prove myself in a different environment. I also feel that I've achieved quite a lot with Zenith by now. We won the league, and right now we're in the semi finals of the Uefa Cup". Doesn't sound too keen on going to England, but he mentioned our interest as if it would be a possibility. Keegan hasn't been linked with him, has he?

That move that got them their second goal was pure class. Signs of Arsenal in that attack. Agree with those who have praised Sirl and Arshavin. Superb today. Was also impressed with Zyryanov..

Man Utd at home. Really thought we were going down then. Also losing to that offside goal at Chelsea.
-
I think that was Jean Tigana.

That's the shortest article ever. Because it's a load of bullshit. Most probably. My thought was that it might be someone that Vetere has spotted in the U17 championships or whatever he was seen at?

http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/index.php?action=read&id=103583 Says Keegan wants some young french defender from Nantes..

What I meant was that there was no explanation about why he wasn't included. Hilarious.

Nothing about Martins on the official site..

Really? Nice to see Carroll being given a start. Really would have liked to see the likes of Lua-Lua get a run out to, but I'll settle for Carroll. 4-3-3 then? What about Zog?

Ngo Baheng faces up to a year out with cruciate ligament injury

Horrible. Tough to get back from these injuries for young players. Could also prove to be a setback in his development. Really feel sorry for him.. -
Smith and Duff will of course start. But I'd like to see: Harper - Beye, Taylor, Faye, Enrique - N'Zogbia, Butt, Geremi - Owen, Carroll, Martins
-
Hardley makes any sense imo Agreed. What exactly is he going to do?
-
Given - Beye, Woodgate, Taylor, Bernard - Solano, Speed, Lee, Robert - Shearer, Bellamy Can't relate to any players earlier than 1996/97 or something like that...

I think Boro will get rid of Southgate during next season. Their performances are very similar to those that we had under Roeder. Unable to play to the standards they want and no being consistent enough to finish in the top half despite having some very good players. They'll not be challenging for a top-half finish next season. Villa, Spurs, Everton and Newcastle, thats it. Sunderland and Wigan might improve on this season, they're both heading in the right direction.
-
Roland Nilsson - absolute shit. Laurent Robert should be in there and Solano should be further up.

Shinawatra just seems to be pretty mental overall. Not suprised at this because of the nature of the man..just look at what he's accused of back in Thailand.
-
Tord Grip has confirmed to Swedish media that they (Eriksson, Grip, Backe) will go after the season. "They think we've performed to poor, we'd like to think we did pretty well..." Shinawatra, what a psycho...

Didn't Cuellar turn us down?

Was this just on TV? What did they say?

Seb Larsson scored again for Brum. Was it a freekick?(out of Swedish interest now that Taylor has taken out Ljungberg for the summer..) -
So you think the world conspiracy signed him for them?
-
Tainio and Boateng seem a little harsh? Boateng cost as much as Smith and Barton and I haven't seen that much critisism for that signing. Tainio is mainly because one of my closest friends was a big fan of him until this season and I've always hated him. He's been shit all year. Could easily have put someone like Fae there..

Out of all the Derby players, Leacock must be the absolute worst. Mine would be: Robinson - Samuel, Leacock, Bramble, Baird- Smith, Boateng, Tainio, D. Murphy - Pizzaro, Mido
