Modric. Would indicate that our transferpolicy has changed and also send a message to other teams that we're fighting for the best talent in Europe.
-
Too slow IMO for the Premiership albeit a talented player. Bit like a good version of Hugo Viana. His left foot is brilliant at set pieces, like Viana. But has a lot more to his game than Viana. Great crosser, passer and a very, very good vision. Chips in with a lot of important goals for Sweden(lately) and used to rule our league like no one has been able to do. Would love it if we signed him, one of my absolute favourite players. Lived very close to him in Stockholm and saw him do the most incredible things when he won the title for Djurgården two years in a row here. I think Everton are after him, and he seems to like them..
-
Says he wants to stay at Werder according to Skysports.com. I think it would be close to impossible to sign him as he is one of the most wanted players in football atm.

Souness. Took away so many things that I liked about Newcastle.

Us winning the shootout against Partizan. Things haven't been the same since that game...
-
Geremi couldn't get past their first man yesterday. We fought something like 14 corners, and ONE was hit past the first post(the one that Viduka struck on the volley). That's not acceptable.

My god I hate Liverpool. Skrtel, Kuyt, Agger, Lucas, Pennant and Kewell are all players that I for some reason can't stand. Kuyt has turned into the player I dislike the most today. They've had other scumbags like Cissé, Baros etc. that has led me to dislike them even more, and the fact that they very often look like a mid-table team and still maintain their status as one of the top clubs in Europe because of their Champions League success, makes me ever more angered. Really like Arsenal, not feeling very harmed by Tottenham and I like their ambition, getting tired of Man Utd. Dislike Chelsea because of the way they forced us out of the top 4.

Vucinic is a good shout, and he's far more dangerous than Kuyt, who's nothing but a hard working footballer. Vucinic has got a pretty good shot, scores goals and does a lot of running for it. Kuyt just runs and wins himself throws. Doubt Vucinic would want to come here though. What ever happend to Oscar Cardozo of Benfica? Seems like a pretty complete forward type of player..

How's Paul Huntington doing at Leeds btw?

We're playing our best football since 2003/04 or something. Haven't seen us attack this way since then at least. Wasn't old enough to get it when he was at Newcastle last time around, but I'm overly impressed. Magnificent job to turn this shit season around. I really think we can catch Spuds now, and maybe The West Ham Rehabilitation Center for Former Newcastle Players Football Club(branded by FourFourTwo.)

-
I would love to see their years of thriving towards that 4th spot come to nothing, and I absolutley love it that we are on this remarkable streak against them, but a talent like King outside the top four is rare, and as much as I want spurs to fail, I don't want them to do it through injuries.
-
Great talent. Remember that he posed one of few threats when he appeared against us as a 17(?)-teen year old for Sochaux when we won 4-0 in the Uefa Cup.
-
Not the player they need to win the league, but the kind of player they keep on buying to stay above the likes of Everton, Spurs, Villa and us..like Bellamy, Benayoun, Finnan, Kuyt, Crouch, Pennant etc..
-
van der Vaart is linked to Juventus, or else "der Bayern" will probably snap him, which is what they do with just about every single player who proves himself in Bundesliga. José Paulo Guerrero has been mentioned in some threads, would be a good striker complement. Wasn't Keegan interested in Daniel van Buyten in january? Would be a very good addition.
-
Kaka could play in Owen's position. Gordon Banks could play in nets as well. Has the makings of a canny team this like. I get it. I'll never suggest an ideal signing ever again. Never.
-
Kaka could play in Owen's position. No he couldn't. Berbatov looks on his way out of Spurs, not that impossible to be honest. Carrick is though.
-
No chance, but Carrick would be an ideal signing if we're going with 4-3-3. So would Berbatov to play in Vidukas role.
-
If we are going to continue with this 4-3-3, I think Enrique and Beye are more than enough for next season. Beye has got it all figured out, and obviously knows how to burst up and down that right flank all day long. Enrique is still learning, but he's improving every game. We need to replace Butt and Viduka long term, and there's room for improvment on Geremi and one of the centerhalves too. Barton deserves some more time to prove himself, showed yesterday what he's capable of.
