Even our remaining fixtures look kind. They mentioned on commentary last night that we've quite a tough run in yet the only games I'm happy to write off is the Liverpool/Man City/Arsenal triple header. Everyone else I believe in the team to get something from if they play like we know they can and it feels so good to be able to say that.

Fingers crossed all the flags get located. Seem to be more than just those two when looking at replies. If ever 'this is why we can't have nice things' could be summed up in a couple of images. I hope ol' twatto on the right feels every ounce of the shame I think I can see in his eyes as he realises he's getting his mugshot taken. Excellent work as always from Wor Flags. Always a sight to behold. -
As if that post wasn't already a bannable offence on its own he's now bringing N-O in to disrepute. Gawalls out.

Even more mental than being 3 points off 10th place Leicester who have 3 games in hand, is being 3 points off Palace in 9th who only have 1 game in hand. And those are our next two fixtures..
-
Oh my God don't I'm already erect after that win.
-
Have to figure he's made himself undroppable even if Willock's ready for Leicester.
-
Why was it ever removed.
-
Good shift and linked up well with Bruno more than once. Good game.
-
Bit of a sexy one this one, ain't he?
-
Balls of steel considering his goalscoring form so far, especially after already having one chalked off. Worth every penny for those three points alone.
-
Sounds like a new poll is needed just to be sure.
-
Need to go back to the famed British pashun basics. None of those namby pamby forrins with their tricks and twirls.
-
Wouldn't have the balls to wear it myself but I don't even see what's overly wrong with DCL's get up apart from borrowing trousers from a 90s NBA draft lottery pick. Davies just looks like he's trying too hard tbf.

Fair points. I'm someone who saw the Wood purchase as a needs must situation and don't blame them for it in any way fwiw. But I guess I just don't feel like other clubs will see much of a distinction in us being negotiated up to £25m and us choosing to activate a £25m clause. Either way we were prepared to pay over the odds.
-
If this guy is as worthwhile to the club's future as the board seem to think then I'm surprised they're not paying it. I get that it's extortion for someone in a role like this but if we've already proven we're prepared to get bent over in desperation for the likes of Chris Wood and that £5m is all that's standing between having a figurehead moving things forward this summer..

Probably just recency bias tbf. I'm sure we almost always have a healthy handful of posters with hatred for specific players with a passion that would make anyone think a killed cat or fucked Mrs was involved.
-
We had Jack Colback throwing up 3-0 hand signs barely 4 months before gracing the club with his presence and from what I recall the main issue for most people was that it was just a shockingly unambitious signing than who his previous club was. Could you imagine if they'd signed Nolan months after he chicken danced his way to 5-1? They'd have flooded SoL with the amount of foaming at the mouth.

Wow. Are they missing any key players or something? 11/4 for a Wolves win seems disproportionately high just because we're at home and only three games removed from a great run of form; they themselves are at 3 wins in 4 and still pushing for Europe. If I was still a betting man I'd at least be taking Wolves DNB at 6/4 to soften the blow if we lose.

As long as Transfer Markt is accurate, is the below really that bad a history? Don't know the circumstances of each but it's not like there's anything specific recurring, and the only particularly long layoff was a fractured toe, which isn't exactly an 'injury-prone' type incident. 21/22 Fractured Toe Aug 28, 2021 - Dec 31, 2021 - 125 days - 16 games missed 20/21 Hamstring Injury Feb 11, 2021 - Feb 19, 2021 - 8 days - 2 games missed 20/21 Muscle Injury Jan 2, 2021 - Jan 26, 2021 - 24 days - 3 games missed 18/19 Bruise May 5, 2019 - May 31, 2019 - 26 days - 1 games missed 17/18 Back Injury Apr 23, 2018 - Jun 30, 2018 - 68 days - 4 games missed 16/17 Ankle Injury Jan 2, 2017 - Feb 25, 2017 - 54 days - 8 games missed

Fuck it let's swap with them.

I'd say I can't believe it's already being suggested but I guess it's not a surprise anymore. Why don't we reward the man who looks like he's going to save what everyone had already decided was a near-certain relegated squad with some better players that suit the system he wants played so we can see if he can actually make the step up? Nah let's review his position as manager because we've just lost three on the trot, one a trouncing off a team with better players in near enough every position and another two that wouldn't have even been losses on another day.

Hadn't heard about this. Delicious.

No feelings hurt. I wouldn't pop in this thread for entertainment half as much if I didn't expect to see your rebuttals to our majority undying love.

The main reason I want him back now is just to enjoy Dinho's fume.
-
I think that's all fair. The England talk was certainly premature and I feel like even in the unbeaten run you saw glimpses of his hot headedness and you'd see a few comments about how we've needed his kind of shithousery in the squad. Obviously it's not quite so fun to watch when it's not working as planned nor leading to wins. I'd be interested in the view of Brighton fans as to whether he had those moments or if he's just getting a bit heady over playing and starting so hot for his boyhood club. But on the flip side, he's a handy player even with his drawbacks and I feel like there's a strange narrative around some people that because he could fill in at multiple spots for Brighton we were signing some utility man from their bench, when he was mostly a regular starter since they were promoted to the PL from what I can see. Do I think he's going to be starting for us if we want to push further than top ten in the coming years? No. Does that mean I think he's awful and we need rid? No.
