Let's hope this lot realise it may only take a few games before we're dragged back in to the struggle. I considered mitigating factors of the first loss after our unbeaten run was Chelsea, and the Everton game was a shambles from start to finish from all parties. What's the structure of the deal that took him to Everton? Was this a loan with an option to buy/obligation after x appearances so he's just going back to the Spurs reserves? Well his Twitter bio translated states he's 'an independent journalist specializing in Newcastle United news' and 'Freelancer' but I don't know if that's been the case the whole time. I just thought he was some random when he was trying to hunt the team down in on their first trip to SA.; didn't realise he was already all up in Wraith's podcasts and mates with ol' Keith. Just looked again and realised his Twitter banner even has Wraith in it ffs.

That's some hefty outlay on strikers needed if we sold Wilson. Like, starting from scratch hefty. I don't see how we'd get a fee big enough that's worth that risk. I can't see how we purchase more than two strikers but at least that means we shouldn't be reliant on him staying fit. Keep him for another year for competition before moving him on next summer after another arrival or two up top.
