We've already got first option on an agreed deal. If we want him, which I'm sure we do, then he's ours.
-
Any idea how much? You're too old mate.
-
Liverpool maybe, but I'd say QPR, being in London, is a better bet than Everton or Brum. Think of the wags, man! They rule the roost these days. Yeah, it's worked out great for Al Fayed and Fulham hasn't it? Who gives a shit about London? 90% of the place is a hole.

Arteta doesn't yet and I think he'd rather wait to see who the new Spain boss is after Euro 2008 anyway. Cudicini has always said he isn't interested in playing for England. I remember Almunia saying he would accept a call up as far back as about 18months ago when he used to sit on the bench at Highbury. I don't think he's any better than what we have.

Guillem Balague said us and Bolton have made offers for Albelda and we could get Fernandes back too.

Is it not Dunne that's won City's player of the season award for about 4 years on the trot? Richards makes great recovery tackles due to his pace/athleticism but, from what I've seen, a lot of the time they're his own mistakes he's making up for.

I'd be made up if we signed him on a free. We need some extra bodies in midfield.

Just got home, feel gutted. Pienaar was fucking stupid.
-
Crouch confirms that he's as stupid as he looks

First team to beat AZ away in Europe. All the more impressive when you think that we rested Howard, Yobo, Neville, Arteta, Cahill & Yakubu and also had Baines & Osman out injured. I went over but couldn't get a ticket for the match, had a laugh in Amsterdam though

I know years ago Moyes went to study Udinese and the Italian national team in training. He always goes on those UEFA conference things as well. Tony Adams went out to Holland as a coach for a while before taking the job at Portsmouth. Wouldn't surprise me if Mark Hughes ended up managing abroad either. He was at big foreign clubs as a player and probably won't get a chance of taking one of the top jobs in this league.
-
Given seems quite injury prone to me actually. Harper seems to play more than his fair share of games in the last couple of seasons compared to other no 2 keepers. Someone will probably pull the stats out now and I'm wrong but that's the impression I get.

He really is a total f****** w******. Little spoilt brat that thinks he's a hard man but then s*** himself and play acted when Ashley Cole of all people got in his face. I wish Mark Hughes would have smashed him last season. Almost as bad as Cahill, when it comes to being a s*** stirrer. Say what you want about Cahill but he never dives or play acts. He's also genuinely pretty tough and will get stuck in if he needs to. The same can't be said for Fabregas. Cahill is a mouthy fucker though, I can see why opposition fans wouldn't like him.

For fucks sake.

It's for Fitz Hall's clothing line apparently James Vaughan did it the other week against Birmingham as well. They must all be mates.
-
He came on trial with us for a few days recently, don't know how it's supposed to have gone He's hardly played for Swindon

Your mate Andy Johnson scored woopdeedoo, whats that now 3 prem goals in 9 months? (by the way, the player who you didnt want at your club and claimed would be a flop also scored) Steady on. Yakubu has done a lot better than I thought he would, mostly because Moyes has got him to pick up his work rate and fitness a bit Lies. Moyes just let Yak do Yak. Yak just did Yak for a while after he first signed and was rubbish.

Omosuzi? he's not making his debut. Was one of their only decent players against us.

Your mate Andy Johnson scored

Yep, and Everton fans and Moyes himself had the nerve to criticise him when players like Andy Johnson never do diddily squat for seven months. No doubt Yak will hit the 15-20 mark and no doubt Johnson wont. He deserved a bit of criticism because he was playing crap, not getting involved in linking the play up and being pretty lazy. In short, the reasons I didn't want us to sign him in the first place. Since then he has started putting in a half decent shift every week and his hold up play has improved. No coincidence that he's scoring regularly now that he's putting more effort in imo. Moyes has improved his game. And why should Johnson have got stick? He was working his socks off and trying his best so why criticise him for not being a quality finisher? That's just pointless. He can't magic up some extra ability.

That's spot on. It's crazy when you consider the likes of Abu Hamza who preaches hate against the UK has been here for god knows how long with the authorities bungling attempts to deport him and criminals with EU passports are allowed to come and go as they please. Immigration hearings should be based on the individual, why should Bangura who contributes a massive amount of tax to the country, is a family man and skilled professional have to leave but someone content to sit on the dole in a bedsit is allowed to stay because they have the right passport? I don't give a shit whether someone is from Sierra Leone or Lithuania as long as they contribute to the country.

They always put the wrong kits on players for the team of the week. Crooks was annoying as f*** last night on MOTD2 with his stupid expressions and putting emphasis on the wrong words in a sentence. He's a right gobshite.

 It was brilliant when he took Gerrard off instead of Hobbs.
