  1. Shit Strikers XI: v.Wolfswinkel Altidore Anichebe Cornelius Kone Aspas Lamela Osvaldo Mitroglu Scocco Soldado
  2. I hate their style of football this season. They could be so much entertaining Don't hate their style but they were much better to watch last season.
  3. Don't think we'll have any problems keeping those three. If we were ever going to sell Baines it would have been in January when £20m was on the table for a soon to be 30 year old who only had a short term contract. We rejected that outright until he ended up signing a new long term deal. If we refused to entertain selling Baines in those kind of circumstances, then there is no way Coleman and Barkley will be allowed to leave since they are younger, more valuable and already on long term deals. I expect them both to sign new deals on higher wages in the summer. Martinez said as much the other week. Stones & McCarthy are also supposed to be getting improved deals.
  4. Fairly surprised since Palace was sold out. Guess it is a weeknight. The 2 turnstiles are Leazes Level 7 so guess Everton won't have as many up as Palace did on Saturday. Wait. There aren't 70000 Everton fans coming? Rolls Eyes Smiley thingy. They're usually quite well supported up here and i'd expect them to have about 2K minimum usually, perhaps not tonight? Tonight is the first away of the season that hasn't sold out. Probably with it being midweek just before pay day. And our shit away form. Fancy a score draw tonight. If you don't score at least one set piece against us I will be staggered.
  5. btw am I right in saying that in West Brom's last 3 home games they have taken points off Everton, Liverpool & Chelsea? Not bad at all.
  6. He was good for us in the second half of last season. Although £6m was good money, I wasn't entirely convinced letting him go was the right move. Would have started the last few games for us and made a difference imo.
  7. Cissokho is the worst starting left back in the league. Even Liverpool's deluded fans treat him as a whipping boy/laughing stock.
  8. Would love to see Bielsa get the Swansea job! Preferably after we play them in the cup.
  9. Everton back with Umbro next year
  10. Think he'd be great at Everton and is a steal at that price. No doubt we won't even enquire about him though.
  11. Kamikaze tactics playing a high line with slow, half-fit centre backs and a kid out of position at right back against the pace of their front 3. It's like Martinez never saw the Spurs v Liverpool game.
  12. Not really. Barry has been vital to us, granted, but he looks extremely likely to sign on a free in the summer. Deulofeu is quality but hasn't actually played much all season. Only a few starts before getting injured. McGeady is probably going to take that impact sub role. Lukaku will be hard to replace but he hasn't been carrying us like the media would have you believe. He's actually been pretty poor since the derby months ago. Traore will be a stop gap to sit on the bench until Martinez can get the striker/s he wants in the summer. Should have a sizeable kitty left from the sales in the summer & now Jelavic going.
  13. Is he a Cabaye type player? Can't imagine him playing that role successfully. From what I've seen he's more of a Tim Cahill with better technique.
  14. Milan home top looks terrible - ruining the classic stripes. Our away kit(s) are going to have that f***ing star on it - at least our home kit will probably be based off the home kit design of Italy and Kawaski with the lush collar. That star template could give you a Newcy Brown-eque away kit

    Nile Ranger

Noticed that Ranger had a 2 second cameo in a grime video the other day Got his priorities sorted, this lad.
  16. Always though that whatever club he signed for, he would get his confidence back and start scoring again. It was just never going to happen for him here. Wish him well tbh Kenwynne Jones stuff is supposedly just his agent using our name to stir up interest. According to the only decent Everton ITK anyway (not to get all THFC ITK Martin Lol). Rumour last night was that Baines & Barkley have agreed new deals. National papers are now picking up the Baines story online / tomorrow's editions.
  17. Think we were going to sign him in the summer but Deulofeu getting injured brought it forward. He's probably worth the gamble for a low fee. He'll probably be used as an impact sub at first, like Deulofeu was - fast, direct, skillful (albeit not the greatest end product). Once he's starting games, Naismith will probably be moved inside and relegated to 3rd choice striker.

    Tom Ince

Were we even interested? Not at the £8m price tag they were asking for last summer. It will be interesting to see what Swansea have agreed to pay. He's out of contract in the summer so you'd imagine it's decreased since then. Their paper seems to suggest a fee of circa £4m, mad kernts will go bankrupt if they don't watch it especially with that Europa League draining resources. £4m? We might have been interested at about half that. Seems like another Victor Moses situation. Promising player available at a knockdown price, but still considered too high for us. That said, the likes of Everton and Liverpool haven't shown much interest either, so we aren't the only ones who seem to think it's not a great deal. He's supposed to be meeting Martinez this week with a view to a summer move for a tribunal fee.
  19. For the loan? No idea. I really hope we're in for him as well, and can muscle our way in closer to the time. No, for a haircut.
  20. f*** 'em. I've had to endure David Weir, Tony Hibbert, Kevin Campbell, Peter Reid etc etc etc. Time we got some payback. U Apart from Peter Reid you seem to have picked out a collection of the most innocuous Everton players of recent times Any particular reason to dislike them? Someone like Cahill or Fellaini I could understand. Around the turn of century Campbell had a knack of scoring against us. Reason enough to go on the hit list I didn't realise he had a knack of scoring against anyone.
  21. Yeah, think I was posting here a while beforehand but nobody loves me

  23. We don't pay him for the privilege though Pardew has got a history of arrogant comments towards us going back to his West Ham days tbf. I remember he proclaimed he had come to Goodison and taught Everton a footballing lesson after stealing a narrow 2-1 win. He's the kind of fella who would be a slimeball car salesman or call centre manager if he wasn't in football.
  24. Flamini is very limited and nowhere near as good as Arteta. Sorry but that's a ridiculous post iyam.
