Joelinton is such a unique player. The strength, tackling, how he is able to get the ball out under pressure and drive it forward from central midfield combined with his ability to play as a left winger/inside forward. I can't think of anyone like him. If you compare him to other midfield destroyers he has good technique, dribbling & not that bad finishing (not if you compare him with forwards tho). We won't be able to replace him with someone like him. Really hope he and the club can agree on a compromise so we aren't "forced" to sell.

Don't think he has what it takes to transfer that to the PL. Probably one of those too good for the championship, not good enough for the PL type of players like Ritchie, Gayle, Armstrong.

Agree to disagree. Every time I've seen him play hes offered fuck all to his team. Average technique, limited range of passing, doesn't get into good goal scoring positions, not very strong, fairly slow. Runs about a lot though.

In his interview I assume when he's saying he doesn't have the energy to keep going that he's feeling burnt out. Could explain why he has become so unhinged the last 2 or so seasons. If that's the case then all the power to him for leaving and getting better. I really liked him as a person for a while even after he joined Liverpool.
