It's not even a new position. He's had a lot of games on the right wing throughout his career including with us. I think Howe and his team has done a tremendously good job at implementing their system within the team so Almiron knows when and where to make runs, and his team mates knows when and where to pass the ball. Some of the runs he makes now doesn't seem natural to how I am used to seeing him play. Now you see him passing the ball and then immediately curl his neck and run into space behind defenders. I can't remember him doing that before.

Can't wait for the 10,000 "missed opportunity" posts on here in January. They were so insightful and fun to read in the summer.
-
Howe put him in his best position today. It's where he himself also prefers to play so hope Howe sticks with it and eventually replaces Willock with him as a regular starter.. He's not fast enough to play effectively on the wing in the PL.
-
Lots of people here happy slag off Lewis, but Pope was equally at fault for Fulhams goal imo.
-
PL quality if we can play against a demotivated 10 man team every week. Anderson > Willock every time for me.

Nick took his England form back to club football?

Should get Lewis and Anderson on for entire second half to give them some much needed minutes and opportunity to impress.

Fulham players queuing up to get out of this game.

Almiron

Normally want to see Anderson playing centrally but for this match fully agree.
-
Almiron & Longstaff now made positive runs in behind Fulham defence while trying to play 1-2 with Murphy and he just ignores their initiative and stops play completely.
-
Based on the red card given the previous match Arsenal-Tottenham, this is a red 10/10 times.

im pretty sure it wasn't 200k to the penny like It's just rounded up/down for convenience.

Feels like the good old days are back. Solano on international duty, Dyer & Bellamy out with muscle injuries, something something with Speed, Cort permacrocked, at least one of O'Brien, Bramble, Woodgate, Dabizas or Elliott out with random injury.
-
He was out with covid for 10 days in January 2021, beyond that he's not had an official injury recorded which has resulted in missing any games.....until he came here. Classic NUFC.
-
Was a bit weird how he didn't get any games for them as he, to me at least, seemed like their stand out player when I've seen them play. Good engine, never loses the ball. Good deal for them since he's not playing. Massive wages off Evertons books.

That first time shot was a beauty. Also certain I've never seen him run so fast in the PL compared to what he did in this match. Is it something about the climate that makes people run faster when it's warm? Swear I have vague memory of Geremi looking like Usain Bolt for Cameroon at the tail end of his career for us.
-
That is just pure speculation. How could you possibly know they weren't knuckling down in training, giving their all to fight for their spot in the team? Similarly to @The College Dropout and @McCormickyou have one standard for good players you like, and another for shit players you dislike.
-
I presume you and @The College Dropoutare big admirers of Alan Smith, Geremi, Butt, Colback and other shit players who stayed to fight for their place then?

Any bets on how many weeks "a little feeling" means?

Mad cause Everton bad.
