Mediocre is fine for staying up. Might even get us closer to mid table than relegation at the end of the season.
-
I almost feel a bit bad for finding that funny. Someone who are so incapable of controlling their emotions can't be in a good place, and it can't be soley down to the fortune of one club and misfortune of another...or?
-
If we can nullify Rice and Bowen we have a good chance of getting something from this game. Rest of their squad is solid but unspectacular. I'd like Howe to consider swapping ASM and Fraser around as ASM could have a field day against Cresswell on the right, and maybe be more inclined to cross the ball rather than cutting inside for the shot.

Seems to be the norm tbh

Three games ago Shelvey scored our only goal in a 1-0 match on free kick. Fraser can deliver decent corners and did so today. It's not the end of the world even though it's a hard pill to swallow that we may be without Trippier for some time.
-
Oh, it definitely will affect our performances don't get me wrong I just don't think it will affect us so much that we end up with less points than the three teams below us.
-
Because we still have more quality in the dugout and on the pitch than the three teams below us.
-
Let's hope it's not his metatarsal based on how it ended for our last England international who broke his It's obviously a big blow, but it's not to the extent where I belive it will sway one way or the other in terms of staying up.
-
Great goal by Leicester btw
-
Wouldn't mind minor short term injuries to Rice and Bowen ahead of our game. If they don't play, we'll win imo. Even if Trippier is out.
-
I get your point, however my take on it is that he was the only player that was pressing the ball in those situations, and it will be easy for the Villa players to pass and keep him 5 yards away no matter how fast or on the pace he would be.
-
Don't think Brighton are to bothered tbh Still, he's gold to us unless it was a 1 off performance from him.
-
If this is the level we can expect from him most games, we've got ourselves a fantastic defender here. We've been crying out for a defender that tries to find team mates with headers, probably since Woodgate, as it will relieve so much pressure on our back line simply by retaining possession in our own half.
-
I didn't notice him being particularly slow myself, and he seems to get himself in decent positions all the time so even if he is, it doesn't really matter.
-
Depends a bit on the wages we've given him whether we'll be able to sell him on or not. They may be so high that no club that would be interested in him can afford him even if the fee is relatively low. We may have to have him in the squad until his contract expires. If we stay up it'll be worth it anyway.
-
At around the 12 minute mark he got in a good position in front of an Aston Villa defender from Fraser's first cross. If the ball from Fraser had been better that would almost certainly have been his first goal.
-
I can't remember, but wouldn't be surprised if that was the case. Bruce did sign him for Hull mind. Regardless, it's not like he would have gotten the funds from Ashley to buy him anyway.

Leicester fans not happy

What a player Bowen is
-
Agreed, and also nice to be interested in seeing our next opposition play due to interest in Newcastle again.
-
Zouma last minute change not starting due to "feeling unwell" Hopefully it's his conscience that is hurting.
-
Down to a 2 for me now.
-
I'd say so yes.
