Imagine a Rafa coaching him to get even better at what he was good at instead of trying to make him into an entirely different player.
-
Tiote was fantastic for us in the beginning, and had a really good partnership with Cabaye. Performance started to drop around the time Pardew tried to convert him into his own Michael Essien.

You think I'm wound up. God you're a fucking moron. Don't get wound up of me implying you're wound up, which you clearly are. It's just an act man, calm down
-
Not nearly as fun you and htt getting wound up by a footballer making ironic jokes of himself. Now excuse me while I bend the knee in front of my Zlatan altar entirely made up out of printed Zlatan tweets made into paper mache
-
Easily better than anything we currently have in central midfield. No brainer if there's a possibility of getting him.
-
It's served him better financially than any of the names you've mentioned so why not. Not like it's hurt anyone, and it adds a bit of character and humor to the sport.

neesy must be glued to the screen when the wrestling is on

Biggest cunt in football. Soon as he's retired and gone the better. Stop being such a bore

I thought Sissoko should have stayed as a CM for us. Big, strong, pacy and mobile he would have made a very good box to box guy and he would have developed better in the middle of the pitch. I thought he lost a lot when we moved him out to the wing. I mean, there's a few people that has picked Almiron ahead of Sissoko. Sissoko for us was often used in the same way Almiron is now. A quick ball carrier with little end product. Yet Sissoko actually got a 12 goals and 19 assists for us in 133 matches to Almirons nothingness in 22.

Coloccinis passing was outstanding. To the point where a lot of people wanted to try him as a defensive midfielder. Lejeune probably has better long range passing but Colo could pass the ball out of tight situations and find a team mate in situations where I think Lejeune would just have to play the ball out for a throw in or corner just to avoid the risk of losing the ball to a pressing player.

They've tried SAF's appointed successor, two high profile managers with good track records and buying established world class players. Nothing has worked. I can see why they would give the long term plan a go.

Mbappe isn't made for anyone but Real Madrid, PSG and potentially Man City or Barca. Nobody else will cave in to his ridiculous demands.

This game week sucks. I have no clue what to do
-
Sorry, but you can’t blame anyone else for missing those howling sitters. You have to finish one on ones when you have that much time through on goal. Finishing was fucking shite and he will need to work on it. This I was speaking in more general terms from earlier matches I've seen. I haven't seen highlights from the West Ham match so I'll just take your word for it and hope it's an anomaly rather than the norm for him.

Could soon, if not already, suffer from the HBA-condition that he's running with the ball, has no options, tries to do it all by himself, fails thus fall subject to criticism due to the ineptitude of the manager and/or team because it was him that lost the ball.

Due to incomplete information given by Cardiff to the Premier League
-
Personality aside, he's world class, experienced and can play across the entire front 4 in OGS system. I don't see why not as a stop gap solution? Van Persie came in around the same age and gave Man Utd their last league title.

Bale is exactly what Man Utd need. Swap for Pogba + money and spend the money on a more suitable partner for McTominay and they have a very balanced squad that should be capable of getting into the top 4 again.

There's few others I'd prefer between the sticks for a desperate reaction save than Given but other than that his stature made him weak in the box and it seemed like he was aware of that since he rarely came off his line to pick up balls. His distribution wasn't great either, albeit a bit exaggerated on here. All in all above average keeper in his time, and he would still be above average today, in a league below De Gea/Kepa/Allison/Schmeicel.
-
Shay Given would be in his own league above the likes of De Gea?

I'd accept a comparison between Almiron and Jonas, but ASM and Jonas? Naaaah

Fuck Cardiff man. All emotion and empathy aside, it must suck balls to cough up £15m to another club for a player they never got, but they just have to suck it up and pay. He clearly was a Cardiff player and it's ridiculous to suggest otherwise.
