Will never EVER happen again."
  5. We can't afford not to sell him financially speaking, but we can't sell him because of sporting reasons. On some level this is bad no matter what happens...unless we somehow got in a replacement.

  10. He isn't on 30k on his current contract, so I call bullshit on this one. He might have tripled his wages, but from something like 8k to 24k sounds more right.
  11. Eto'o has already played for Real Madrid at myself
  12. Given Steinsson - Samba - Zhirkov - Johnson Gomez - Arshavin - A. Young Defoe - Crouch - Adebayor
  13. It's silly really. From the 02/03 season dvd, there's a small clip of Bobby showing the cameracrew the view from the elevator in St. James' Park, looking out on Newcastle, and the smile on Bobby just shows how proud he is of the club and the area. Never realised how high I regarded him before now. RIP Sir Bobby Robson.
  14. Was woundering that myself. This seems to be one of their favorites, but I don't understand it. http://i256.photobucket.com/albums/hh170/midlands_bucket/ktp.jpg
  15. Sunderland also linked with Chamakh today days after the player himself said they were leading the race to sign him. Him and Cana would improve their team drastically.
  16. How depressing is that list of players? Just entered My fantasy team to the league.

In case this somehow is true: What a fucking manwhore
  18. Like Beye then? hasn't beye said he'll stay on lower wages though, haven't heard anything from enrique just this contract honouring, also beye has said he wants to end his career here, enrique just wants to be here for another 3 years also beye is loved by most of the fans, enrique isn't like i said (the fans around me in level 7 are awful, i've had ppl argue with me for criticising owen, but when i argue with them over enrique it's totally different in their eyes) Beye will stay on lower wages? What lower wages? He'll be on around 60k (same as Enrique if the papers are to be believed). What has the fans' opinion of Enrique have to do with anything anyway? He might want to stay on to prove the haters (who are idiots incidentally) wrong. beye has said he will stay on lower wages in an article this week well there will be quite a few fans that want rid of enrique and do, beye is cult hero for our fans, so there's a total difference 60k is wide of the mark, there both on around 45k each which we can't afford to pay in the championship, simple as Eh? You're just repeating the same stuff, I said what lower wages is he going to stay on i.e. he's not even on low wages to begin with. And you didn't even reply to my second point, just because fans don't like Enrique how does this make him a money grabber? :/ I'd say they are both on around 30k, and my "educated" guess is as acurate as any of your estimates.

    RIP sale thread.

There should be a "Don't know" option to the poll. Wheter this is good or bad is impossible to determine. For the immediate future, it could be catastrophic, but long term it could be a gift from the gods, vice versa, or no noticable change at all.....
  20. What's the e-mail adress?

    Pay cuts

Unbeliveable that so many think that the players don't have a relegation pay cut clause in their contracts. It's standard procedure. Stop maximizing crises that aren't there. Sure we need to get rid of the highest earners, but players like Taylor will have to take a pay cut because it fucking says so in his contract. Please don't believe the tabloid mumbo jumbo. Let's focus on issues that actually matters.
