He's been in all the right positions but he's apparently wearing clown shoes (or possibly Shola's)

15/8 on Skybet for no Newcastle goal scorer tonight, seems like a decent bet

Did he throw his coat on the ground?

We were fucking awful for 90 minutes today, a couple of debatable decisions doesn't change that. We absolutely deserved to lose.
-
Utterly pathetic performance. Genuinely embarrassing. We gave the ball away constantly and offered almost no threat up front. We've had 2 weeks since the last game to prepare for Fulham and that's what they've come up with? Every single member of the coaching staff should walk for that. Absolutely abysmal.

That was unexpected

Alan Partridge making another reappearance

I'd rather see good players used badly than poor players used well. Just occasionally under Pardew things have clicked and the players have put together a few minutes of play that's genuinely enjoyable to watch. Italy in 2008 were a technically brilliant team that simply didn't concede goals, it was somewhat fascinating to watch players play horrible football so well but if I had watch it week after week I'd lose all interest in the game.

Under Ashley we'd likely get another English journeyman nowhere near good enough for the club, but the odds are shortening by the day that he can be any worse than the daft cunt who has been battered 3-0 in consecutive home games to the fucking mackems. We might have a chance of seeing players like Hatem Ben Arfa playing in a black and white shirt too, which would be great. The only thing that gives me any hope here is that Ashley seems to place at least some trust in Graham Carr when it comes to signing players so there's a tiny chance that he might ask him for advice on a manager too.

which isn't exactly making me sympathize with them, they only get interested when someone has the audacity to call bullshit on their lies? And beyond that they don't give a fuck but spreading more lies? I'm confused. Are you talking about the club or the newspapers?

If Ashley really is in the business of buying cheap players and selling them on for a profit then it's shit like this that make me hope that he might peddle Pardew. Instead of a highly desired flair player being fought over by the rich clubs who could pay £20m+ for him, we'll now be lucky to get £7-8m thanks to Pardew's fuckwittery. What's even more bizarre is that Pardew's entire game plan relies upon players like Ben Arfa pulling out a piece of magic & winning games out of nothing. With Cabaye gone who do we have left that's capable of doing that? Rémy? He'll not be here next season. De Jong? I doubt he'll hang around and whilst he's looked OK so far he's not done anything special. Cisse? Pardew's mismanagement has turned him into a shell of a player & I doubt he'll hang around for next season either. If Ashley doesn't get shot of this halfwit we'll be heading into next season with no goal scorers and no match winners.

Absolutely pathetic.

Hoof! Also, we have absolutely no clue how to deal with teams that quickly close us down. Our own players end up up playing each other into trouble because they're just passing to people who are already tightly marked.
-
Utter crap, we looked like 14 random strangers who have never trained or played together. No semblance of a plan to either score or defend.
-
Excellent news. Pardew next please.
-
Because he has no idea how to beat Poyet and he's scared of losing to Sunderland game after game, so he reverts to his conservative tactics - keep it tight & hope that one of our flair players can create something out of nothing. Except we're running short on flair players since they're either injured or suspended or we've yet again sold someone without having a replacement lined up and it's a tactic that never works when the opposition press our players quickly (basically doing exactly what we should have been doing from the first minute). That style of tactics clearly don't work with the players we have, as has been demonstrated almost every time he's tried it. He's an utter fool to try it again but he really does not seem to have any other idea of how to set a team up to play.
-
Utter wank. Pardew and every single player should be ashamed of that performance. Completely clueless all over the pitch.
-
Complete and utter garbage. Fucking shite all over the pitch. No semblance of any sort of structure or game plan. It's fucking pathetic.
-
He's left to join a club that's aiming to win the Champion's League and will certainly be getting a huge pay rise to boot. Sad to see him go but hardly surprised that he's gone to a club with more money and much more ambition that mid-table mediocrity. He hasn't bitched & moaned about the club, he's got on with his game and he's been fantastic for us throughout his stay here, good luck to him.
-
Poor game overall, should have had it easily won by half time. Typical awful 2nd half. Typical shocking refereeing again too.

I want a pie THIS big!

Absolutely nothing wrong with that goal. We've been utterly cheated there.

Fairly sure that Fat Sam spent quite a bit that summer, most of which was under Ashley too. £6m each on Alan Smith and José Enrique (then hardly ever played him), £3m on Rozehnal, £2m each on Fayé & Bèye. He signed Caçapa, Geremi & Viduka on Bosmans but they would have been on very decent wages & signing fees. His shitty, wasteful, irresponsible spending was arguably the reason that Ashley panicked and brought in his mates to oversee transfers that led directly to Keegan leaving. Wasn't there also a rumour at the time that the reason that he got the sack in that January transfers meeting was because he told Mort that he wanted to sell most of the dreck that he'd just persuaded the board to purchase in the summer?

Shockingly poor performance

I think Stoke need a new motto, something like nothing is ever our fault Yes they had two players sent off and had two penalties awarded against them but if they weren't already down to 9 men they could have had a couple more players sent off and we could have had 2-3 more penalties. If anything, Atkinson was pretty fucking lenient towards them in the 2nd half.
