Wouldn't go that far. He's the best they could get. As Rafa is with us.

Hell of an appointment for them.

Bramble's a great example. Every physical and technical attribute you'd want in a CB but was deficient mentally and it ruined his career.

He never had the brain to get to that level. What you have between the ears means everything as a CB. Astonishingly his judgment seemed to get worse with experience.
  5. Dyer was a CM. A very good one too.
  6. Shearer and Bellamy were the best partnership here since Pedro and Cole. Course by the time Kluivert signed Shearer's star had faded while Kluivert still had bags of class and was a a lot less selfish as a striker. Him and Bellamy looked awesome together.
  7. Comparing Owen to Demba Ba, man. Well they are comparable because Owen had just less than a 1 in 2 record and went through a couple of brilliant spates of form. As Ba did. They both wanted to leave the moment they got here, too, so they have that in common. Ba is the answer to the question but Owen is definitely second, the rotten cuntbag. 26 in 71 isn't 1 in 2, York.
  8. Comparing Owen to Demba Ba, man.
  9. Find it difficult to have too much sympathy for a player who left us in a relegation struggle to go and sit on Chelsea's bench, like. Hell of a player, obviously. You could put Ba in a Conference side up against Barcelona and he'd find a way to get on the scoresheet. He should've had a better career in truth.
  10. Neither of them should be on a shortlist of 100 candidates.
  11. Redknapp's as bent as a Samurai sword, gets teams relegated and is even older than Hodgson. Get lost, man.
  12. Do I sense stress induced heart problems coming on.
  13. If he wanted to stay I'd keep him simply because he's a good player who'd tear up the Championship.
  14. Who's never at any point during his Premier League career looked like a bad defender, just poor on the ball.
  15. Turning up to a water fight with an M4.
  16. His exact words were 'you lot can fuck off with this, like'.

All of our players go backwards, though. Look at how good Sissoko was when he first arrived, yet he has a few good games for France and people can't believe their fucking eyes. We've had a huge problem with man-management and basic coaching for a long, long time. Rafa will sort it, thankfully.
  18. And that's exactly why we need to go foreign. The most viable English candidates are shit.

Like the two times his goals kept us in the league? He got 11 goals in 22 games (I think) in 2014-15. Imagine if we'd gone down under Carver minus his goals. We'd be fucking screwed and without Benitez. Obviously he never hits the heights of his first half-season with us but he scored a lot of important goals after that. Right time for him to go, though.

Wish him all the best. Couldn't help but like him a lot, even when out of form. Thanks for the goals.

Mourinho relies on transfers and sculpting a team that fits his ideal of quick turnover football. Not to mention the fact he's a complete cunt. Nah, should've been Ancelotti. He was absolutely made for the job. We need a brilliant man-manager with a proven track record in knockout football and nobody does it better than Carlo in those areas. If we'd offered it to him a year ago he'd have taken it in a second.

    Jesús Gámez

Typical Ronaldo double-contrarian troll comment. Or you could just look up our record with and without him last season. He's a solid defender. And a very easy target.
  23. Santon managed to stay likable while making countless errors leading to goals and giving you very little going forward. Coming from Inter and the Italian national side with Mourinho's praise compounded with his unassuming nature probably explains it. I liked him, but he's better off with a slower pace of football.
