  1. He had one impressive season in 2018/19 where he provided 14 assists and scored 7 goals. We then jumped in a season after and got him on a free transfer on a big wage for 4 years.
  2. In someways it’s smart. Transfer fees seem to be inflating at ridiculous rates (mainly due to Chelsea). They are locking in all their business for the next 5-8 years before that inflation gets worse. The risk is that if the players fail, they won’t be able to get rid and also they will have minimal FFP space for the next 5-8 years to reinvest further into the squad. They will have to sell more young players to stay afloat.
  3. Tierney not on the bench for Arsenal.
  4. I’m sure Kane would be happy to see the season out with Spurs and then move to Man Utd for free next summer with a bumper contract and sign on fee. He then gets an even bigger pay day and stays in the PL to beat Shearer’s record.
  5. This is why its imperative they expand the stadium or build a new one. New corporate seats for the rich and famous, but keep affordable tickets for the everyday fan.
  6. Hes got no right foot. He played there under Rafa and impressed with his energy and press. Playing him on the left takes away his biggest weapon, which is to cut in and shoot.
  7. Perhaps this: Pope Trippier Schar Botman Burn Anderson Bruno Joelinton Almiron Isak Gordan Tonali, Barnes, Longstaff, Wilson off the bench,
  8. How would this go for a starting 11? Pope Trippier Schar Botman Burn Tonali Bruno Almiron Isak Joelinton Wilson Gordon, Barnes, Murphy, Anderson, Longstaff off the bench.
  9. We were lucky the season wasn’t even a game longer. Our midfield at the end of the season had Bruno hobbling every game, Longstaff crocked, Willocks hamstring gone, Big Joey had an injury. We were literally down to playing Anderson and Gordon in the midfield. We would have dropped some points.
  10. I do like that he seems to find himself in good attacking positions whether that’s goal scoring or crossing. They are not common qualities in a full back.
  11. Absolutely. They would only sell him to us at an extortionate price. He is contracted until 2025, it depends if he sees his future at Chelsea or he’s been sold the dream of competing for first choice left back with us .
  12. Expendable Players: Ryan Fraser - 2.2 mill per year until 2025 Jeff Hendricks - 2.6 mill per year until 2024 Isaac Hayden - 1.2 mill per year until 2026 Emil Krafth - 2.9 mill per year until 2024 Javier Manquillo - 1.8 mill per year until 2024 2023/24 Impact - 10.7 million 2024/25 Impact - 3.4 million 2025/26 Impact - 1.2 million Total - 15.3 million pounds over 3 years We will have some more wriggle room to upgrade the squad once these players are off the books. A 50 mill pound player on 100k a week costs around 15 mill pounds per season over a 5 year contract. I would think we need another 3 of these next season. So we will need to continue to grow revenue at another 30 mill a year or start selling players for high transfer fees.
  13. I think we lack a quality wide forward, Liverpool have Salah, Arsenal have Saka, Man Utd Rashford etc. Ours are less proven. I think our midfield lacks a number 6. We need more centre back depth, ideally someone to compete with Schar and a new quality left back.
  14. Miggy suffered from that calf? injury and it took him a while to build his fitness back. Other sides also started to work out hes always going to cut back in on his left foot.
  15. We haven’t bought a player from the premier league this window anyway
  16. Wonderkid -10 potential on FM24
  17. That Peupion kid for Brighton looks like he’s going to be class.
  18. I went to the San Siro for a Champions League match last season and yes its giant and old. But its got so much atmosphere and character. All the food vans lined around the stadium, builds a carnival like atmosphere before the match. Its lush. It takes about 15 minutes to walk up the ramped spiral path to the top tier.
  19. He needs to be looked at as more of a wide forward than a winger. His goal scoring record over the past 3 seasons is similar to Rashford who is rated as one of the top players in the league. Rashford doesnt offer much else other than speed and finishing.

    Isaac Hayden

Mike Ashley handing out 6 year contracts to championship level players and signing the likes of Castore and Fun 88 onto long term deals, when he knew the club would likely be sold, is ridiculous. He probably did it on purpose.
  21. I would still expect a high quality attacker and a starting left back at the minimum. Perhaps another 80 mill pounds. Then we recoup 20 mill through wages and sales.
  22. Jao Felix on loan with an option to buy? I was impressed with him in a shit Chelsea side.
  23. Could Mikel Merino still be an option? Or does the Tonali signing signal the end of that? Could he be our 6?
