He’s shown in the last few weeks that he can look up more and pass more, especially with a decent striker to link up with. The bigger issue is his defending, which I doubt he can ever improve. Question is whether we can account for that somehow.

I think Bruno will end up playing deeper and just making forward runs as and when we have secure possession. Wouldn’t be surprised if we didn’t buy a dedicated DM. But whoever we do buy needs athleticism and a bit of bite, so that overall 3 has enough about them to compete against anyone.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned, but Zinchenko was absolutely brilliant yesterday. Didn’t know he had that level of performance in him.

Think that’s closer to the reality. We have some solid players who can drop from first team to bench. I don’t think we need to look at anyone who isn’t Bruno level.

He fucked up one counter but did exactly the right thing for the second goal. He’s not that bad, he’s better than Fraser and miles better than Murphy.

I was fully behind the signing and I still understand why it was done. But sadly he wasn’t very good and I don’t think he’ll be anything but a league cup player next season. I guess we need a squad, but if we could get 7-10m I would peddle him.

Just thinking back to when he first came in, looking near death with never sleeping, never leaving training, never taking a second off. I was genuinely worried for him, brilliant he’s now able to reap the rewards.

People should be able to watch the game they want, is the basic point. Especially if the match itself is sold out, or an away game.

Evening KO is much better than day IMO, leaves the day free and the atmosphere is better.

Nah, didn't even get excited really. Murphy is "alright". He has moments of quality but also some genuinely unbelievable mistakes which you don't see very often at this level. Like really bad, silly stuff. Don't mind the guy but he's not a Premier League player.
