He's always marked by two players, i though Ousula for Gordon should've happened sooner to allow him more space.
-
The problem to me isn't his pace as much as how long it takes him sometimes to release the ball, in his position pace isn't needed as much as the abillity to pick out a pass.
-
You have a chance to go top of the league and you produce this performance..
-
Playing like he's hardly interested for us, couldn't stop running for England. should've been taken off earlier.
-
The Midfield balance was all over the place and he didn't get much right in the first half (again) thought we needed to be more proactive after the goal and get Tonali on but he waited too long and we lost momentum, his lucky streak has ran out and now we really need to get fucking playing. Why can't he fucking just start Tonali? he was a better fit for this game than Willock and we would've moaned less at least.

Take Gordon off at HT please.

Fulham vs. Newcastle United: 21/09/24 @ 15:00 (No UK TV)

I would go for this Pope Tino -Schar -Burn -Kelly Bruno Tonali -Willock Gordon - Isak - Barnes They are a good side from the wings but lack a proper midfield and defense, having Kelly and Tino gives us some defensive solidarity and allows the front players to cause damage. Would also be good to have Joelinton, Hall and Trippier rested and ready for Wimbldon as they will add much needed quality to that game. -
Tino will only improve but one aspect that is really disappointing with his game is his technique with the ball, he dosn't seem to be able to cross, shoot or play a good pass and the minute Trippier comes on it makes a world of difference having that ability on the right. I would say though he's a better defender than Trippier and has more physical presence to keep up with pacy wingers, so i would still have him starting against a team like Fulham. But its good to have both options.

Bruno infected him with the over-playing virus, good call to replace him given the circumstances.
-
The debate since last year has been if he IS the best CB we've ever had or not.
-
Good squad player but starting him with the quality we have creates unfair pressure on him.
-
Wasn't sure about him when he first signed as i loved having ASM on the left but what a player.
-
His decison making with the ball was also annoying, but credit to him for running himself to the ground today.
-
Fantatic saves today and got us the 3 points at the end but can he at least try to keep the ball on the pitch when he kicks it?
-
He needs a good rest and time in the training ground to work more on his game, terrible first half.
-
Really hope he stays fit as the quality he brings to the side is required, more so in games like this.
-
What a sexy player, you knew he'd make it up for us from the Southmapton game.
-
Zero faith in him from the looks of it, Gordon is wasted upfront and surprised he didn't get a look in.
-
Still very valuable and still quality.
-
The team he picked to start was really not the best but very happy with the proactivity of those changes at half time and that they worked. He's got so a lot of quality in the side and hope he works out the best way to use them.
-
Not his fault he got picked today with a fully fit Tonali available.
-
How have he seen what Tonali did for Italy and decided nah i'm still starting Longstaff
-
Seeing what a shit start he's had to the season really makes you wonder the sanity of going all out for him as if he's the next Maldini, there are many top talents around that will be happy to join us and will cost less.

Southampton is a team full of clowns. Fraser fits right in.
