  1. Rather see him with a squad nowhere near as good as Chelsea's first. Didnt I see on text earlier that he is sniffing around the Portsmouth job ?
  2. Yes, I agree with that. I just cant believe that he came back for money and money alone. Still. I hope if it is done and dusted out of court, both parties keep schtum afterwards and just leave it well alone. I hope it doesnt then turn into a tit for tat thing in the tabloids.
  3. As has been said, an out of court settlement does nothing to clear things up. This will be talked about for years yet sadly
  4. Is Giggs modelling a new shirt or something ( i just walked in so sorry if it had been mentioned by the interviewer)
  5. But that doesnt make sense if he walked away from a multi million pound job.
  6. I know its 3-1 and Man U probably have their foot off the gas but I am quite liking Derby's style of play
  7. Hit the wall again. Its like he has forgotten how to do it
  8. Guy Havord with a look of "No way am I asking Sir Alex for an Interview here" on his face. He looked shit scared
  9. Well... yes... that was kind of in the hope that Ashley suddenly developed an understanding of what was required from the manager and recognising the abilities of Martinez. As you rightly remind though, the offering of a long term contract to Kinnear doesnt suggest he is currently capable of making a sensible choice of manager
  10. In some respects, we could be perfect for Martinez as I dont think Ashley is likely to put any demands on the manager, ie. CL/UEFA is a MUST - certainly at least while the finances are being taken care of. During that time, Martinez may be allowed the correct amount of time to assemble his squad and to implement his style on the team. Judging by the general comments on Swansea, I think his style of football would develop a level of understanding and patience from the fanbase as well.
  11. I think its more that people feel his long term aim is to make a profit on the club. Which makes him different from nearly every club owner, anywhere, ever... how exactly? It doesnt. I would agree in that they are all out to make money for themselves. Its not my point of view to be honest but I was just trying to offer a thought on why people were seeing past the current finances situation and just looking at his general end game.

  13. hmmm. Not so sure. Last weekend, he simply went in for check ups and everything was fine. 5 days later he was having a triple heart bypass so we are bound to learn more as the week progresses. Still be amazed if his doctor allow him back this season. If I was Mrs Kinnear I would go bonkers at him for coming back this season
  14. Doesnt look like we will ever find out what really went on
  15. Cheers for that LLLO. I told the people at work about this guy but I couldnt find it on the web anywhere
  16. If we bought Riquelme it would blow the club's transfer policy wide open again as he is just the sort of player they said they were not targetting. Its never going to happen.
